Question Rear Console Lock Replacement

The rear console lock came out when I tried to unlock it (the locking cylinder). Anyone know how to reinstall it? Wasn't able to find it in the service manual.

58 views and no answers? Guess I'll just have to mess around with it and see if I can get it to work.

Just stuck it in and spun it until it clicked in. Seems to work again.

Hmm just stick and spin huh?

I shall have to try this on lunch. Tossed my firearm in there as work doesn't like me have my CCW on me in the office. Would be nice to be able to get it out of there.

Should look to see if you can find a locking box you can bolt in there. There are a number of companies that make custom boxes so you can lock your gun in your center console yet still have quick access when needed.

I have a locking box in my trunk that's hooked in with a thick steel cable to the frame for if I need to store my gun, though I rarely use it.

Yeah I had a box welded to the B pillar in my old car for storage, but she was totaled and I just picked up my CL-S this weekend so I have not had time to figure out a better solution. Was just in a hurry this morning and locked it up, then realized that I have not tried unlocking it. When I did that I ended up pulling the cylinder out. Was only able to mess with it for a minute. Hopefully at lunch I can get open.
