Navigation help

Hello all. I am helping someone with an issue on a 2004 TSX. Someone informed me the TSX and the CL navigation are very similar. I can't get an answer on the TL section so I thought I would try here. When you start the car, the Acura navigation page comes up, but it doesn't go past it. After a couple minutes, it will reset but still not go past the page. I unplugged/plugged in the battery with no help. Also, it did not ask for Nav or radio codes. Then I took the DVD out, cleaned it (it was dirty) and reinstalled. No help. Then I unplugged the DVD unit then plugged back in. Now it will start up correctly, can access all pages, but only for a few minutes and then it goes back to the Acura Navigation page. Does anyone have any other suggestions

I'm not sure what that could be. What I am certain of is that they are 100% different. Your Navi is much more similar to the Accord of that year. Good luck!
