I want to set my car on fire

A few days ago my passenger side window got stuck, it won't roll up or down. Now today my car started to overheat and leak coolant. I'm thinking the thermostat needs to be replaced but when I opened the hood I noticed off to the side near the thermostat housing there is a pipe with a broken cap leaking the coolant. No clue what the cap is to fix it.

I'd like to refer you to the section where you're supposed to whine about your problems, but I think that's more of an office setting arrangement where they charge you by the hour.

If you'd like help with your issue, you might be better served to describe the problems a little more, and possibly help us with pictures.

Otherwise, you know where to buy gasoline and matches.

Please record and post on YouTube of the burning of this highly unreliable car.

Well if the cap is broken and needs replacement, then it should be pretty straightforward. I had a cap I needed to replace because it started cracking after aging and it was pretty simple. Granted my car didn't overheat, it would drip coolant and I would top her up every-so-often until I did what I describe below. Just be glad it's nothing worse.

The following items can be bought from Oreilly, the endcap I was replacing was .5" in diameter, but yours may be different:

.5" diameter coolant hose. They sell it by the foot, but I only used about half.

A rubber endcap, .5" diameter.

A .5" coupler that connects two rubber hose together.

And some JB Weld.

Insert the rubber coupler to one end of the hose then apply the JB Weld generously over the other end of the coupler. Also apply some inside of the endcap. Connect the endcap to the coupler. It says to wait 24hrs to dry out fully, I left it overnight and the next day removed the old endcap and inserted the hose onto it. That thing is bullet proof now. JB Weld can withstand 500F. (I think I may have also put some JB Weld over the outside of the endcap, not too sure).

All in all about $5. I had some JB Weld lying around the house so I didn't have to pay for that. With the JBWeld ~$10-$15.

Tell that to my ex whose car it is and he just handed me the keys and said its your problem now. I've dumped thousands of dollars into this car and it's still crapping out on me

Wow. As a former Cl owner I could help. Like the others said, stop whining and give us some details so we can help you sort it out.

sell it for a loss and move on.
there's no point in life if you are stressed.
Be blessed and sell it.
