I did it, used RX350 projectors with STI lens upgrade. i used this as a true BIxenon. I made dummy projectors using a shroud and the lens from the RX (epoxied them in) and fit them into the spot where the highs once were. a lot of dremeling on the headlight housing and shrouds to get them to fit properly. right now im about to fork over $400+ for new headlight lens....ive had them professionally restored and sealed but from being 15 years old they are still not crystal clear and can see hairline cracks from sun damage.

a lot youll just have to figure out on your own. the back cap of the housing isnt deep enough for the projector so youll have to be creative to seal it so no moisture enters.

hmmm, yea seems like a lot of work trying to track down different headlight parts from other cars and making my own and the retrofit source really loves their product lol. I checked out the other guys retrofit to his cl but couldnt see any photos so really it wasnt helpful at all, I guess Im just going to have to find a reasonable projector kit and go from there. Just wanted to see yalls opinion to this kind of upgrade...

ive done mine twice. once with mini h1's and now i have mini d2s. its not hard. its nice having TRS local. lol.

how do the d2s work for you? how was the installation process? im pretty good with fab work i actually just custom made two exhaust tips yesterday, just headlights are going to be a little bigger of a deal since you actually need them lol
