My old 2.5" exhaust. XS headers -> Magnaflow high flow cat -> CT b-pipe -> Magnaflow resonator -> CT axle backs. There was zero drone at cruise.

When I shifted from 3rd to 4th at ~6250rpms, you can hear it bog down I still need to get this fucker tuned.

I could hear a very short/slight tone change from 3rd to 4th; however, it still accelerated strongly.

I suspect it would be a little more noticeable sitting in the seat. The car climbed in speed effortlessly though, and that NA sound is sweet. Well done with that former exhuast system combination.

However, I'm going to have to hear a clip of a deep rev into 1st then 2nd with a nice 3rd pull once you get it tuned and have capable axles loaded up. hehe

What type of mount did you use in the car to hold the camera? Looks like it pulls strong.

Yea I know, the first was to just show how it is at low speeds, since Im getting ready to list that exhaust for sale.

If I took it up closer to the redline, it wouldve bogged even more. Even at ~6k rpm at WOT, the AFR is hitting around 11.7:1

Theres a new exhaust on it now, so once I get the car all straightened out (tune, axles, new tires), Ill definitely post a few more. Hopefully it'll be on a track too

That was the suction cup mount that came with the GoPro. Thanks

Why would I drive 3+ hours to run the 1/8th mile? I have a track about 30 minutes from my house, but I wont run until I have axles.

So you had it hanging from the moon roof? I do have to admit that's pretty still and clear for a go pro.

Yep, right on the moon roof. The GoPro mounts are solid, mine never shook, and I had it attached to the roof doing 90mph down I64

My friend bought a go pro about a month ago and the extra suction cup accessory like yours. We mounted it on the outside of the passenger window so he can turn it on and off. I did a pass about 20-140mph just to test it out lol late at night. It was very stable but the wind noise even inside the case was annoying. It's pretty clear for night time also.

Yea, if he got the latest version of the GoPro (Hero HD2), those night videos are very clear. Mine (first gen) is worthless at night. The wind noise is ridiculous though. No matter what you do, its all you hear. Thats why I usually keep it inside the car now.

Yupp that's the one he bought. I heard the same thing exactly what your saying. Smart idea to avoid the noise, it's just cool seeing some different angles outside sometimes. How did you blur your face lol? I'll probably use my friends when I race that accord and my friends bmw. It's just tricky finding a good angle to see the actual race. I can be a dick and put it right in the middle on my trunk lid facing rearward lmao hahaha.

For blurring my face - I used Sony Vegas Pro. Theres a tutorial on YouTube specifically for it if youre interested.

Im bored, these are BS videos I shot awhile ago. Theyre from my GoPro at night, so you cant see shit. But you can hear it. This is my CL with the EL long tube headers and 3" exhaust. First video is me getting on the highway, second is a first, second, and partial third gear WOT pull. I have no idea what happened on the second to third shift, maybe I missed it And yes, the guy in the car next to me was actually trying to race.

If you notice in the first vid, at higher RPMs my AFR hits 11.9. I've run even richer Theres a good amount of power waiting to be unleashed once I tune it.

Not sure if the link will work since my album is set to private. But the video can be found in the thread listed above. A few years old, but still repping the 2nd gen j series!
