After reviewing the vid, you might be right, however it won't hurt to check it.

Thanks guys. I have no idea my car had an IMRC. Very good info. I think it's working because the VTEC definitely kicks in at 5 grand, but definitely worth checking it out anyway. Thanks for the info. I'm too old to be asking noobie questions, sorry!

Also I can't honestly remember when or where I took that video, so it might not have been a flat stretch, might have been a slight incline. In any case, I'll check my IMRC, find a nice flat stretch, then take a new vid and repost!

Is it possible to add a IMRC (actuator) to the cl-p engine? I've also heard a lot about v-tech controllers. Has anyone dealt with those??

I dont know if it's because you have the cl-p or if it's the exhaust, but that seems quite higher pitched then mine. I didnt want that high pitch of an exhaust and after hearing soundclips, I came to magnaflow which was perfect for me.

I like the high pitch. It's only between 3000-4500 rpms when it's loud, then the CAI takes over. But at cruising speeds I can barely hear it in the cabin. Under bridges, driving by long lines of cars, or driving next a road barrier the real sound is very grumbly. Almost V8 soundish.

EDIT: I honestly couldn't tell you if it's because of the engine or my exhaust set up.

CL-S Launches

Okay, so I found this really chill dead end street in the Indian reservation on the way home from work that I can set up my tripod and shoot videos, so yesterday on my way home I set it up and did some launches. I've always had to have my buddy drive my car by me in the past so I'd know what the car looked/sounded like from the outside, but now with my handy tripod I can do it myself. Anyway, the vidoes are self-explainitory, just a launch taken from the front and one from the back. I turned the VSA off left it in auto mode and just went WOT so probably not the best launches of all time, but what the heck, it was just for fun. I really love the sound of the car from the back. Let me know what you guys think.
