If you like Belgian style beer, and aren't afraid of something strong (they are 9% alcohol) you'll love it.

My young daze I drank 1/2 part cooler and 1/2 part 1800 Cuervo, SoCo , Absolute Vodka with any OJ or Sprite or some kind of off name variance., GoldShlaggers (sp?), any kind of Pucker, and Bacardi Rum.

Favorite drink is a long island in the "Bucket" at the RAM. I die for those. lol.

Good time of year for barely wines. Also try Victory "Old Horizontal", Weyerbacher "Blithering Idiot" (which you can get all year 'round), or the old stand-by Young's Old Nick.

As good as many Belgian abbey ales, but cheaper. I often get the sampler, which is usually priced at about $40. Not bad for that quality and alcohol content.

Wow, I just had a Fullers Vintage Ale a few weeks ago to celebrate Colts over Pats. What a great ale. A little too sweet for my taste but very well made. And cheap too. I think it was five or six bucks. That's for one bottle. Fanciest packaging I've ever seen for a beer. Came in its own box with a limited edition number and everything.

Yes, as good, if not better in some cases

Luckily we can get them quite cheap here too as well. The sampler is about $20USD.

Yeah I think it was 7.50 here. When I poored it out I was thinking 'Bass' but the flavor was much more complex. The package insert said something about the beer becoming better with time like an aged wine. I don't know if I have the self control to keep a few around that long

My favorite part about Oregon. Even Safeway has a great beer selection - and stocks a lot of the NW beers that you can't normally find (at least back in CA)

Just a few hops crammed in that bottle. That's one damn good beer. I've had the 2005 and 2006 and the former tasted better, imho. It looks like I'm going to my favorite beer bar & checking their stock.
