Looks like I get to stay home for a couple weeks. Next trip looks to be the end of this month.

Nice. I think when I go places this summer I'll try to see about getting to a game or 2. I have to be in Chicago this summer. I may also be out in Cali in early May.

I was in San Jose over the weekend. Everything was crowded as hell. Places like Chili's should NOT have a wait of over two hours for a table of two. Fortunately I found a couple of quiet local places to eat.

Off to NYC/North Jersey tomorrow evening for a couple days.

Got a about three straight weeks away after that, I think; BFE Indiana, followed by BFE Arkansas and then St. Louis and KC for week 3.

Which Hotel Chain Do You Use?

So I'm starting to look closer at my hotel points. Which chain do most of you use? I have a couple days on both Hilton and Holiday Inn. Not much on Marriott.

I have the Marriott Premier card and earn 5 points for every dollar I spend at Marriott. It adds up quick, ~ 2,000 points a week plus 2 points for everything else.

Not bad.

I just got one of those 3-2-1 Bank of America cards. I figure the cash back option is best for me.

Marriott. To accumulate hotel points.

Although at the moment I'm accumulating USAir miles and Holiday Inn pays 2 miles per dollar and Marriott only pays 1:1, so I'm staying at Holiday Inns. Which I hate.

Actually BFE Missouri and BFE Illinois, then KC.

I have that card too, FYI....if you build the rewards up to $300 they say you will get a 25% bonus when you redeem them.

Nice. I'll be there soon. I usually only redeem the cash once a year. I estimate getting about $800.

nice! I never noticed the part about the bonus before. Not sure if its new or I just didnt see it. I would usually build it up to about $100 or so then just put it as a statement credit.

I wish I could use my card and expense it instead our fleet fuel card for work. I would make a fortune in cash back

We don't have company credit cards. We use our personal ones so I get to reap the benefits. Plus I really spend a lot on gas every year.

we dont have company cards either, but I dont really expense a lot. Fuel would be where I would benefit, I usually buy 60-90 gallons a week for the company van

Been in Seattle for the past 5 days. Stayed at the Pan Pacific on the edge of the downtown area. Nice, quiet hotel. Downtown was fun to visit.

Now sitting at SEA-TAC burning 5 hours 'til the redeye flight back to ATL. FML.

PHX in 2 weeks, then ORD in 3 weeks. Delta should be kissing my ass.
