that still wouldn't help you travel much. and from what I know accountants work the longest hours. Even during my worst times working 16hr days our accountant is still at the office before me and leaves after.

I can't think of a worse job than accounting or auditor, at least from what I've seen

Maybe, but it's the work you do when you get there that would suck. From what I've seen, they sit in a room and go through papers all day long

Get an auditing gig or hook up with an accounting/business consulting firm. You'll get that travel bug out your system right quick.

you do realize that when overall claims are below a certain percentage that the agency gets a bonus, right?

Home this week.

Off to Atlanta next week.

And I've got to wear a jacket and F'king tie to a dinner for god's sake. WTF is this world coming to?

I should go Hunter S. Thompson on the useless bastards.

Back from Charlotte. Had some really nice dinners with clients. Best was the bone-in ribeye from Flemings.

Atlanta. Driving home tomorrow afternoon.

I must say, it's shaping up to be a good year job/career-wise; busy, but good.

Same here. I'll take busy and traveling over the 4 months I sat on my couch collecting unemployment and stressing over not having a job.

Ditto. I sat on the bench for 2 mos (paid) and UI for 2 and although I enjoyed doing projects around the house, it was stressful.

Mine was paid for about 6 weeks. 2.5 months on UI. I learned to cook cooler foods and our home was never cleaner. I make a good wife when I need to be one.
