I also believe Tamiya has some as Sly Raskal has reported before. But, give Marushin a try.

Unfortunately I don't see any diecast models of aircraft made by Tamiya; however, they have an extensive plastic model lineup for cars, ships, aircraft and other vehicles.

Try these guys:
http://www.fightertowncollectibles.com/
They have a huge selection made by various manufacturers.

Also check Airplane manufacturer sites. Boeing has an online store you can buy models of Boeing aircraft. They may not all be diecast though. Most airplane models as far as I know are made of wood.

On a side note, while doing research for to respond to your post I found this little guy on the Tamiya site:

http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/ite...oduct-id=58415

Looks like an awesome toy to play with.

As far as I know they've always had some of the old stuff. Remember the Clod Buster?

Except you have plenty of time to save up while you wait the 2-3 years for AutoArt (or Minichamps) to actually release the models they show.

I have to say though that for all the detail they put into the rest of the car, the material they chose to make the tires out of looks pretty crappy.

My "realistic dream" would be a 1/18 CMC-level Jaguar XJR-14. Hell, I love that car so much I'd probably even pay for a 1/12. Has to be the European Silk Cut livery though.

They look so cheap. if they looked a little worn in it would have been perfect. i wonder if it's actual rubber or plastic. if it's rubber and the wheels turn, you could probably wear them down slightly. Let us know when you get yours.

Welcome to the thread.

You're right, you're gonna have it tough finding many of those in your list. I know for a fact you won't find the white Integra four door. I've been looking for that one for many many years. I also don't think the TL was ever made either. Kikaida made a custom one. His pictures are earlier in the thread IIRC.

I found the 2000 VW Golf, Lexus Gs300 and the Acura TL late last night! Still trying to see if I can find the others.. I just contacted a few toy makers to see how much it would cost to make these models.. we will see.

There is a Chinese company that makes the 3G TL. In fact, there are 2 or 3 on eBay right now...

Nice! if you can get them to make a decent 4dr teg in white I'm all over it. if they can make a '96 and' 98 in 1:18 scale even better!

Yah, so I tried asking at least 30 different scale model companies and a project like that costs in the 50k range. That is money I DO NOT HAVE lol .. so my dreams of having some of these cars is not happening anytime soon. What these companies need tor ealize is the following that honda cars have. Like if they made a 1:18 scale of a civic hatch I am sure there would be hundreds if not thousnds of people who would want one.

As far as the TL scale model, I found out they started making them when Acura was introduced into China. They were giveaways when they sold the cars.

Warning: It's plastic AND some metal parts

I know this is not the "best" thread for this, but I thought you guys might be interested in a model tank I just "completed" (it's 90% complete...just some finishing touches left)

What was the remaining 10% that required you to assemble? And if you don't me asking...how much is the kit?

Oh hrm...I forgot to mention that I scored an AutoArt 1/18 Reventon last week. But, Moog's tank trumps the Reventon.

You have to assemble ALL of it......the 10% is some of the finishing touches I have left to do to "satisfy" me......(paint the german markings instead of decals...a few minor paint things as well)

It's a fantastic kit....kit runs around $50 US.

Wow, nice work, dude!
