Like I said although she usually picks action movies anyways including the Expendables 2 and 3

Just watched it on Netflix after seeing the trailer you posted. Incredible footage. The guy truly lived life to the fullest.

Just watched The Interview. Gotta admit I was pleasantly surprised; thought it would suck ass but it was definitely worth the watch.

I watched Cuban Fury this afternoon...cute if you like the actor/writer who made it.

I saw John Wick in the theater...bought the early release on iTunes...and I have watched it about it 3-4 times now...with more to come. I just love that movie.

One of the best series ever. Also one of the best/most accurate representations of real day to day police work I have ever seen.

^I'm glad a former LEO could chime in on The Wire. Loved that series and am always curious how "right" they get it.

They paid as much attention to the boredom and slow time as they did to the action (more actually). The frustrations were spot on, the barriers (legal, departmental, etc) were spot on, and relationships between the officers and supervisors were well done. Never been a drug dealer so I can't really say how accurately that angle was portrayed.

I know this is the Netflix / Redbox thread and there's a Amazon Prime thread.. but Amazon Prime is running several pilots right now.

I watched Mad Dogs and The Man in the High Castle.. Both interesting.. I can already see how they play out. I think Amazon is taking a vote on the next series.. worth the watch. I don't usually watch series, and when I do I marathon them. Only thing that pissed me off was I couldn't watch to see what happens next.

It's only time before they're kaput!

When it was $1 DVD, $1.50 BR.. it was a deal. Now it's +tax +$.. almost $2.50 a BR.. and although convenient, it's not as convenient as streaming on Amazon, Vudu, Youtube, etc.

So many times I've gone to return a BR and the kiosk was full. I find myself streaming through Amazon about 50% more than before because of this.
