Many of the movies don't even break even so the studios need these movies to get their money back.

^ I think he means that non-Transformers movies don't do too well so the studio makes these Transformers movies to rake in the dough to make up for the failures of the other movies.

Oh.

Yeah, Transformers is a tent pole movie/franchise. Easy money and a pretty much guaranteed large audience.

Those aren't too bad considering the previous designs.

Um...disagree, dude. They made Hound a fat@$$ who is SMOKING...? And with a beard. Really...? Cuz...robots need to...shave?

I mean, sure...in the G1 cartoons, Wreck-Gar, Unicron, and some others had facial hair...but, this is ridiculous. If the logic towards why the live-action TFs looked the way they did was to be "realistic", then, WTFBBQ is there "facial hair"...? Why not give them pubes too?

Don't disagree with you. I'm just saying that comparing it against other Bay robots, these are an improvement. That's a low benchmark to meet.

Ah okay...then, no disagreement there.

Sigh. Of all franchises that need a reboot, since movies do reboots all the time, this one needs it in a bad way.

Perfect.

Sweeps.

Scourge is the name of the leader of the Sweeps...they all looked identical though. 2 of them were changed by Unicron from the badly beaten Insecticons (Shrapnel and Kickback). Not sure who the others were sourced from.

Thundercracker (blue) turned into Scourge. Big controversy who Cyclonus was. Apparently it's a big mystery as it may have been Skywarp or Bombshell.

I think this this is the best looking Megatron yet... well except the "tusks". Still not a GOOD Megatron, but I think he's looks better than the previous iterations. I wonder how they plan to explain his transformation...

Sure.

Going from a hideous walking tree to that is an improvement. I mean, Megatron now looks like Ultron! Glad he didn't die.

Honestly, if this version of MegaTron was on the big screen. It would make Darth Vader look like a school kid.

Yeah I'm not sure why they couldn't pull off that version of Megatron? Seems perfect for the bigscreen.

You and everyone else would think right? Except not Bay and the executives in charge of this idiotic movie franchise.

It's "Transformers: Ugly and Uglier".

Frank Welker is voicing Megatron for the FIRST time in these movies. Crazy that it took them 5 movies to cast him for the voice when he should have been the one the whole time. I love Hugo Weaving and all, but why add that expense when you already has a guy who has done it for decades? (I don't count Frank voicing Galvatron in the last one as him voicing "Megatron")

So, these morons are going to explain why Megatron had a voice change? He hit puberty or something?
