Smoked a 2007 Mustang GT Automatic at the track with my Base Auto

I actually posted this in my other topic but I felt it was kinda out of place so here it is. I blew the doors off a 2007 Mustang GT Automatic with straight pipe from the final cat all the way back with rear muffler delete. Times were 14.1 @ 100 for me and 14.9 @ 98 for him. Track temp was 78 degrees with 83(!) percent humidity. Lights out on that ass. Filmed from three different angles with a close up brightened still image to confirm that it was in fact a GT. Time slip at end of video.

that's cuz they are slow! you should NEVER be afraid of those, except when forced fed.... if they tack on a supercharger or turbo, they are gone.

generally speaking, any old v8 is fair game, which includes trucks and suv's too. Love when I take a chevy truck with a v8 to 60....they're like wtf!?!?

the newer generation of things, lets say 2010 and up, you'll have a hard time fighting.

05-10 GT's with bolt ons are way faster than TLs, so I wouldn't say it's just the F/I cars he needs to look out for. They're still 300-315 hp stock vs 258 for the TL, and they only weigh a bit more. They wake right up for way less money than it takes to wake up a TL.

I know these 14 second passes are nothing special but I've run the car about 23 times on the strip, all in not so ideal weather (minimum 84 degrees with at least 50% humidity), or in the case of this run, 78 with a crazy 83% humidity. Wait till winter. Going to have tons of mid to high 13 second passes under my belt. Promise.
