have you checked the fuse box yet have you used other electronic devices prior to windows shutting down

If you hear it click, it's not a fuse, your getting power. The window may be stuck. Mine sticks too sometimes, You can try to carefully bang on the window around the window edge as your pressing the switch. see thread....

I am having similar trouble out of my drivers side window as well. Mine is not getting power on the up side. Goes down just fine....And stays that way untill I take the panel off and reverse the wires going to the motor and then it goes up. I thought it was the switch. It is not.

Here is what I have figured out so far about mine. They are several components that make our windows work. My book covers all the ways to test each one if that is within your mechanical knowledge. As I said I can send you that section of the book if needed. Just send me a pm with your email if you like. From what I have seen it will be hard to track down otherwise. These cars have a very complex electrical system for the windows. Just let me know.

Sounds to me since it's the drivers side & it's up & your getting power on down, it may be the module for the auto up/down.

Im curious if the multiplex unit is the culprit for your situation.
