Lost Keys and Remote and Alarm on
Hi,
I have a 2002 CL. I lost my keys and remote and the alarm is on. I have what looks like 2 spare keys. One black and one grey. They look like a master and a valet but the problem is my husband thinks he has tried those keys and they will not start the car (perhaps older keys..don't know)..however it looks like they will open the the car door.
My question is if I use those keys to open the door and they in fact do open the door will the alarm go off if they non-transponder keys.
Please advise...I have to figure out a way to get keys for my car by Monday or I'll get a ticket.
Thanks
Susan

ok..looks like those spare keys are non-transponder keys. I was able to open the door but not start the ignition. does anyone have any experience with the emergency start procedure?...I have the 5 digit security code and I read on the internet that you can enter it via your brakes and it will bypass the immobilizer. I'd like to get the car down to the dealer..thanks..Mark
