Check SH-AWD

So today, after driving for about 1 mile "Check SH-AWD system" light came on. I shut the car off and the light went away. After 1 mile, same thing, light came back on. Shut off the engine again, light went away and came back on again after 1 mile. Also, I was paying attention to the SH-AWD bars and as you accelerate in a straight line, the RR always has 1 bar less than the LR, which has never been an issue before, until today, when the light came on.

Also, I have a VSA light on from about 1.5 years ago, which I was trying to re-set by jumping pins, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. The VSA light is still on, so pin jumping didn't help, and it seems like I got a "Check SH-AWD" deal out of it, although I'm not sure, just guessing.

Any ideas?

If it were me, I would want to know why those codes are coming up. Some of the auto parts stores, Advance here in Atlanta, will loan you a code reader hoping you'll buy the necessary parts from them to make the repair.

Well, for now it seems like I got it all figured out. I shorted the circuit. All electrical systems were re-started with the Honda diagnostic tool and now it's all good. Everything is back to normal. Thanks for the help.

Can you elaborate more on this experience? Thanks

Could the CD player short it out? And what, copmagnet82, did you do to fix it?
