Drl hid problem

Ok so I got a ballast, anti flicker and bulbs.... Install them when DRL are on they turn on for a sec then turn off but when I put the hi beams on no problem... I've tried switching the plugs every which way I ordered a relay harness will that fix it or m I missing something else ?

The DRL is designed to operate the incandescent high beam bulbs at half intensity (Not sure of the exact mechanism used to accomplish this - either electronically modulating the 12 Volt DC or putting the bulbs in series. So HID will not work as DRL in this setup, unless of course you modify things.
