strange noise and acceleration issue
2 fold problems I am trying to diagnose on my 06 AT Navi 160k
1) when driving at 85+mph there is a loud hum or low howl from the front somewhere. Wheel bearing? happens when driving in a straight line, not sure if noise worsens when taking a turn bc I dont often take turns at 80+MPH
could it be related to passenger axle vibration issue?
tires are brand new Nitto 18s. New rotors and brakes
issue #2)
Ive owned lots of different cars over the years, Matrix, Integra, civic, Eclipse E36 Bmw etc...
When driving on Interstate, happens pretty much at any speed. if I take my foot of the gas to slow down, there is a surge feeling like the car continues to want to surge forward.
I have to have the foot pushing the gas to maintain a consistent and smooth ride otherwise there is an intermittent slight surge or pull forward.
no idea what could be causing it.
Ive tried different grades of gas. changed ATF, changed oil.
Issue has been there since I got the car a few months ago

Noise prime suspect would be tires, particularly if noise arose after tire installation.
Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensor fault might cause your symptoms. Look for threads containing APP for help.
good luck
