1998 tl makes whining noise
1998 3.2 tl makes whinning noise when started in the mornings seems to lessen when drivien but still there. Also whins when i turn steering wheel and turning seems a little harder at times.
I was told i had an power steering leak at last oil change. I have kept fluid level up and it seemed it was holding more fluid the last month as i have not had to add any fluid when checked. Some guys at worked mentioned to me that i might need some steering fluid as they noticed the whining noise as i left work. So i checked the fluid and it seemed fine but i did add a little any way and i did notice that the fluid was kind of bubbling up with very small bubbles.
Any suggestions/and or fixes would be greatly appreciated
thanks

yeah I thought so, but the strange thing is it stopped whining all of a sudden yesterday now it is back, but I did notice that one of my hoses that goes to my pump was sucked-in and not letting fluid circulate throughout the system hence it doesn't make the whining noise when the hose is not flattened/sucked-in. I think I might try and change the hose first before I get a new pump as the hose does seem softer than the other hoses.
