Console lamp location?

Console lamp location?
Well this is a fine how do you do. I disassembled the console of my 2003 TL to replace the burned out console lamp. That was quite a job, having to unscrew the shift knob, the storage compartment, the fake wood trim strips, the seat warmer switches, the storage cubby, and then pull up the shift assembly. BTW do NOT unscrew the four screws with green paint dabs in them! Those are impossible to put back without major work as their nuts fall down inside the shifter assembly!
Anyway I found the lamp socket, then my old brain FORGOT where it was. By the time I plugged in the new LED lamp into the socket, I forgot where it went, and dang it, I don't see any hole of the right size where it went!
Here is a picture of the side of the shifter, could someone with a few more brain cells than me point out where the dang light goes? Thanks.

Thanks for the blueprint. You'll note that they don't have little arrows showing where the light socket goes!
I finally figured it out, it doesn't go into the yellow shifter assembly at all, it goes UP into the gray plastic PRNDL cover. duh.
An awful lot of work to replace one bulb. Remember, don't touch the four bolts with green lines on them, they don't help you get the shifter out and their nuts drop down out of reach and you have to unbolt th whole shifter assembly and flip it over to get the bolts back in place.
