Car starts and stalls sometimes unless given gas
I've been searching and couldn't find anything, I replaced the PGM-FI relay already thinking the cause was the hot heat because it starts up fine in the mornings and cold first starts the problem comes and goes randomly, when i have issues starting it I have to apply gas to get it goin after holding the rev at about 3k for acouple seconds the problem goes away it drives fine as long as the cars on, I don't have any CEL lights only the maintenance light is blinking most likely due to the miles reaching 7,500 miles and needs to be reset, if anyone knows what's going on I would greatly appreciate it, thank you for your time!

the ONLY reason the Mait Req light comes on is 7500 miles have passed since last reset- at last oil change

I would suspect IACV idle air control -access on bottom of throttle body
Have you done the intake manifold remove to clean egr passages yet?
that's the time to care for the TB too

1999 Acura TL 150,000 miles, I believe the spark plugs were changed from Westminster Acura. I gotta check my paperwork to see what was done, I've read somewhere about the EGR tube needing to be cleaned and this fixed the issue for someone on this forum, is this an easy fix? I have knowledge of nissans but this is my first Acura. Thank you guys for the prompt reply. I haven't done anything to this car I've owned it for about 3 months with no issues until about last month, some days it's good no issues at all some days I gotta wait a few minutes just to be able to keep it idling without stalling out, few weeks ago the car was acting up battery was dead alternator wasn't charging so I changed both of them.

reset the ecu by remove clock fuse for a minute- located passenger end of dash or kick panel- since batt and alt died, some bad info was going to ecu from various sensors
the 99 has only 1 egr port, which clogs very easily. There was a recall done that cleaned the port and installed a smooth tube for exhaust to go thru- it didnt really help
Need to remove intake manifold and clean entire length of egr passage thru manifold and its single port, get this- every 75kmiles!
acura care 1 800 382 2238 x5 or dealer- can run VIN and make sure that EGR recall was done by dealer
Its about 2 hours at casual pace for diy cleaning of system, our diy has a 99 manifold pics no less!!
plan on 30 minutes extra to service Throttle body and idle air control inside of it

a 99 with 150kmiles,,I would expect no less than massive clogging of the egr passage/port, and the IACV/Throttle Body parts in general need scrubbing
