2003 headlight

My passenger side headlight stopped working, so I replaced the bulb. It worked... then it didn't. . After driving for a month with a headlight working very rarely, I replaced the ballast. No luck, so just for kicks I put in a new bulb I happen to have. It worked! After bragging to the little woman I went back out and sure enough. .it didn't work! My question is, can this be the igniter? I know it sounds like loose wire, but I have twisted, wiggled, and molested every wire I can see?

Most likely. Can you swap sides with igniter?

welcome to the forum
Please proceed to any of the threads titled `low beam problem` for information on replacement `kits`

Do you have moisture inside the headlight lens after washing or rain?
Then you have the death to ballast by water issue that so many of us suffer from.
Easy to swap in new modern waterproof parts from these kits, they come with 2 new bulbs suggest 5000k color, 2 micro sized compared to stock ballast and the invertor ignitor parts
no need to order smaller ballast- the normal size of the modern ones are very small and lightweight too!
a few hours diy at casual pace, it only sounds scary to pop the nose off the car and remove the housings- swap out parts

If all failed, it is worth going with aftermarket HID for $40. It is very much plug and play.
