Transmission Failing?

Hey Acurazine,

Lately, ive noticed that when driving my 04 TL 5AT, as i am accelerating from a stop or 0 kmh/mph, as the gear is shifting automatically from first to second. It seems as though my car sort of delays catching onto the second gear. Like the RPM needle would be at the number 2 on the tachometer and then hold itself there for like a second then itll catch onto the second gear and the needle will drop back down. Is this a problem with my transmission? The car drives fine and amazing, just this weird sort of delay whenever the car goes into second gear. Anyone have this issue before? My transmission fluid is at fluid and i switched the pressure switches on it. my car is at 250555 km/ or 155 miles. the transmission fluid leaks from the tranny but i always monitor it. I have also added lucas transmssion stop leak into it. Do you guys might think its that?
Please let me know what you guys think or experienced with transmission failure. I know this car is old and i sort of expect it to die soon, but i hope this isnt something wrong with the transmission?

ALSO: Everytime i drive on an uphill, while i accelerate, the RPM sorts of holds itself until i get on steady ground then it catches on to the gear. Anyone know what is wrong with my car?
please help me out!

Torque converter might be giving out. Have you ever done a trans fluid change? There's a write up on it draining the trans fluid 3 quarts and filling it with 3 quarts using Acura transmission fluid

Could that really be the cause? I'm no expert at transmission so I wouldn't know. All I know is that it does that whenever I drive however, the car shifts nice and smooth otherwise. It'd be a shame that I'll have to replace the tranny soon

Replace your trans fluid until it clean... 3x3.

Replace treans filter.

For the delay shifting try replacing the Shift Solenoids A and B.
