Unhappy Steering Wheel Clock Spring

My clock spring popped out while removing the steering wheel.
Is it possible to wind this thing back in or do I have go get a new one once it's unwound?

I helped my buddy part out his totaled TL, same thing happened.

If you're able to put everything back together, have fun
It would seem frustrating to put it back together.

I know on other cars you can't reassemble it.
Start checking out ebay

Yeah, I can get them used for $50, but since I didn't break the coiled ribbon wire, I thought I could just wind it up. Not sure if it needs to be re-coiled a certain way. Thanks.

Ok. That settles it. I'll just buy a used one. Thanks all.
