Transmission

2004 acura Tl with 196k.transmission works fine if car is cold once it start to warm up transmission starts to slip .. does any body know why it does that? how can i fix that?

Put a new transmission in it. or get the old one rebuilt, those are Signs of a failed trans bro

Try changing the trans fluid first before doing rebuild. Read posts about what atf fluid to use.
This happens when the clutches/bands wear out... and need to get rebuild, or your fluid is low (but it only does it hot so your level is prob good).
I have an older Accord with the same issues and putting in DW1 helped alot, apparently redline racing atf is better for this though. You may be able to get 10-20k with this.
