HID Headlight Problems

Hey guys long time member just haven't posted in a while. Had a question about my headlights. The driver side HID bulb went out a few weeks ago and the passenger one will come on sometimes but most of the time it wont come on at all. Electrically everything else with the car works fine and I just had my battery and alternator replaced (the light problem started before I did this). So I was wondering if this is just a simple HID bulb replacement or if its a more complicated problem. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it thanks!

Try replacing the bulbs and see if it works first. That's the easiest way to find out.

To remove the ballast you'll need to remove the front bumper, it not too bad though.
Swap which side the bulbs are on and see if the issue follows the bulb. That will give you a better idea if its the bulb or something else.

Bulb = $105 (plus)
Igniter = $180 (plus)
Control Unit = 180 (plus)

You can g o through the wheel well and take off the wheel. There is a tamper proof bolt on the hid cap.

I had the same problem replaced the light and the new light didn't work. It eventually tied back to a problem with battery brain cause d from my bluetooth.
