Car slight jerk when letting off gas pedal
I have a 04' TL AT. Lately as I have been driving, whenever I step on the gas pedal to accelerate and then take my foot off the gas pedal, it jerks slightly in a noticeable manner. I've tried to ease off the gas pedal as well but it still happens. I already changed my passenger mount and my mechanic says that my other mounts (front, rear) are okay for now. It very inconsistently; it happens during the lower speeds. Whenever I get up to 70-80 or higher KMH, it disappears. It only happens at lower speeds.
If anyon knows what this may be, please let me know. I fear I'm losing my transmission. Although my car shifts and drives perfectly fine, it doesn't slip or anything. It's quite old at 248000 KM.
any help will be appreciated!

Suzuka Master
Accelerate Pedal Position sensor, its basically translate your input to gas pedal then into actuator which control pulling the cable. This is called Drive by wire technology.

The other possibility is a stretched throttle cable that you can adjust yourself to remove the slack-- see https://acurazine.com/forums/problem...-doing-830989/.

Yeah, I had no check engine light when mine was acting up. Judging by the age and miles on your car, I would bet that is your issue. I guess a way to check it is buy one, install it, and if nothing changes send it back. It takes 10 minutes to change and that's for someone that doesn't know what a wrench is. There is a great write up with pics and everything.... you got this one.
