Hi all-I'm new here and I have a side markers question.
i have read the whole 3g garage. yes, the entire posts as well as the FAQ before posting. I know it sounds stupid but here is my question.
When i turn my headlights on, the corner light wouldn't light up, neither the front side markers.
Then i went to the dealership and they quoted me $135 just to *CHECK & FIND OUT" where the problem is. ha
Just got this car about a week ago and have spent hours of this AcuraZine's resources! love all the DIY posts!!
I'll post some pics in case you guys don't understand what i'm talking about here. No offense, it's just that i'm not a native English speaker

You may want to remove the sidemarkers to make sure the wires are connected properly. I would go the route that DeathMetal suggested and check your fuses.

Ya, Some people on this forum said those side markers are defined as "small lights" at the under-hood fuse box. It was a healthy fuse. this is weird because the turn signals are working fine. the corner light blink at night. but there's no light when they're not on the turn signal.

If they are blinking with the turn signal, that means you have lost the ≈7.5 volts going to them (gives a not as bright illumination). It has to be a fuse. I would check all fuses, some are not whet you think. I lost my instrument cluster and was like WTF when i went to the fuse i thought belonged to it, i was wrong, so i just went through all the fuses until i found the bad one.

ok~ so i checked all the fuse under the hood and the steering wheel. no luck :-(~
all of them are healthy.
except there're a few fuses like this (7.5A) <-- there're no fuses in those slots.
so () means you don't need a fuse there?

yes, first replace all the fuses ... period.
Next, pull out your side marker light by pulling on it... jiggle then pull (it might help to get a butter-knife wrapped in a cloth napkin & pry at it, if it has never been touched before). The two clips should come right out. Check the connection, unplug & plug back in TIGHTLY.
Next, check your headlight turn signal bulbs. There is a chance they may be incorrect bulbs. I replaced my bulbs with the single stage ones, not the correct dual stage bulbs. The correct bulbs have 2 fillaments. (cant remember the numbers at this time) But my results were exactly the same... Not on with headlights, but it would blink when turn signal was activated.
After this, you might need to check all the grounds that have any connection with your lighting system.
This should turn up some results... if this doesn't work, I would consider taking it to an electrical specialist.

Look on the back of the fuse lid. There should be a diagram there showing what should be where. I would take a pic of my box, but it's an '07. Maybe someone here will take a pic of their fuse box for you.

Ok so I am now pretty sure that all the fuses are fine. and i also tested the "small light" fuse. when i pulled it out, the brake lights and the rear side marker wouldn't light up. anyway, seems like there's a bigger problem with the front side marker and the corner light...
