Steering tilt on 2000 RL
My steering wheel does not automatically tilt anymore. I noticed that it was loosing power while tilting and then it just quit. The telescoping still works but I'm not sure if it is a motor that is gone or the gears. Plz help with any info. Thank you in advance. :wish:

Time to go to Acura...lol. Maybe check fuse...idk.

It's more than likely the gear, it happens over time on these models.

I went to the dealer and asked about it but they said it is not common. Also, I asked for the motor but they don't sell just the motor but the whole steering column. Has anybody ever fixed this problem? If so please let me know how. I am going to try and remove the motor to try and fix it myself, if I succeed I will post it.

It happens on the '91 - '95 Legends that had the power tilt/telescoping steering. I'd suggest the Acura Legend forum for more information.
