Is there a computer diagnostic port on 99 3.2 TL

Check engine light came on my '99 3.2 TL.

The guy at Autozone could not find a "plug" anywhere in the car to "read" the codes.

No reference to such a code-outport port or plug in the owner's manual.

Can anyone tell me if the '99 3.2 TL has such an output port, and where it is?

iths under the "Not a Ashtray" compartment. look down in the littel nook, there is a piece of plactic trim, get your finger down there and pull the top towards you. it will pop out and reveal the diag port.

Later batch '02 and '03 have their OBDII ports located underneath the steering column. Check there first, and if you don't see it, then it's below the "Not an ashtray."

It is below the ashtray and of course tranny code  Dropping it off at the dealership Monday. Whoever designed these tranny's should be kicked in the :censored: :ass:

The only part from Japan in our cars, and quite possibly the most problematic. :tomato:
