whining noise...RL
 

I just got a divine RL not too long ago and two days ago, i heard this funny whining noise. Couldnt tell where it came from 'cause it never came back until this morning...agin, 4-5 secs and it was gone. Any ideas? Also looking for reasonable OEM parts supplier, preferably online. Dealer charging a head and a neck for door handle (parts and labor - $560!!!!).

The acura parts are expensive. Some of the parts online such as www.acuraoemparts.com are less expensive. For something like a door handle, you can look for a used one. Post a "wanted" here. Use www.partfinder.com to check salvage yards. ebaymotors.com has parts as well...

Oh, and you'll save some $$$ if you can do repairs yourself. Go to www.pdftown.com and download the tech manual. Search on "acura rl". Large download but worth it...

RL's are great cars. I got 251k out of mine...
