OEM Headlight color?

I just got an 2008 Acura TL CBP recently was wondering if anyone could tell me the OEM color of the headlights? I know their HID's, but what color are there? I searched around and someone said they were 4300k, but when I looked at my headlights it didn't match what I saw in comparisons pictures.

I was looking into changing my headlights and fogs to HID's 6000k each. My car is completely stock and no mods were made (it was previously owned by a 45 yr old lady). Does my car already have HID's? If so, would I have to buy ballasts with them?

I know I have to get H8 bulbs for my fogs, but which ones would I need for my headlights? Dsr-2?

Thanks!

If you want headlight work done, you should research/contact JnC headlights. His work is top of the line but you will have to choose between sending him your lights or doing his swap program where he sends pair of modded headlights to your liking then you send back your stock.

When it comes to your fog lights you should buy a hid conversion kit with ballast and bulbs. I may be wrong about this but H8 and H11 are interchangeable. I bought H11 on accident and they fit on my 08 tl-s. Personally I like the 4300k fogs because you get the most useful visible light. On top of that they match the hid headlights almost perfectly. It's your preference.

So, for the headlights I don't really need to purchase a conversion kit? Could I just use the stock ballast and put in new 6000k bulbs in?

Your headlights are already HID equipped. All you need to do is swap the D2S bulbs. Your lights are 4300K but may be different when comparing them to pictures because either A) your bulbs are older or new than the ones you're comparing them to. Meaning one or the other has already begun to color shift from hours of use.
B) The pictures white balance level could be off.

For the foglights you're going to need an HID kit

So I can use these bulbs for example?

I'd recommend looking here if anywhere. They sell better quality bulbs. You get what you pay for when it comes to HID parts. Don't cheap out.

We had 2nd TL with 4300K HID on foglights which match perfectly. But now we have the 3rd gen TL-S. I try the HID on Foglights and It wont work , because I need the wiring harness for it. So, I might goes with LED foglights to match the headlights. Just because I don't want to deal with the wiring harness. Also all factory HID are 4300K, which put out the most lumens (lights).
