"The Outlaw" Octane Booster

I haven't seen any threads about this octane booster. I have tried just about all of them and like most of their results, but this one is far and away the best. For some reason it has made my shifts smoother, acceleration much better(ecspecially low end response), idle is smoother and engine is quieter. This isn't my imagination I am very objective and skeptical when it comes to additives. This however has amazed me. Has any else used this product? It comes in 4 packs for 10.00. The are little 4.5oz silver cans with red at the top saying dale earnhardt then "The Outlaw" maximum performance. Pretty damn good buy I think. Most good octane boosters are 5.00-8.00 a piece. These are 2.50 a piece and work better. I then got a K&N filter today and with the two combined it seems as if my car has never felt more responsive and faster. In my opinion "The Outlaw" is the best octane booster on the market. Feel free to disagree and bash my enthusiasm. :pound: :alf:

I heard those things will mess up your sparkplugs. Not sure if it's true............

etxxz 12-26-2004 04:02 PM

not true. sparks get messed from dirt, oil or lean conditions.

Octane boosters just add more "explosive" to your gas. it makes the engine run a bit hotter but no big deal, just dont do it on every tank!!

3/4-full bottle of this will turn your gas equivalent to 104octane which will shave almost halve a second in a quarter mile run! Read the directions and add proportional ammounts of that thing when you fill the car up.

gotto Google and you'll read all you need to know

Don't like using any of those type products. Especially on a brand new car.
But heh, if it works for you ....

i've never put any of that in the Tl, maibe when i gotto the track or dyno i might do it...sounds like fun

*btw i did some research in google and found out that an octane booster cant harm your engine nor add horsepower accelleration or anything. It just cleans the combustion chambers and make the car more fuel efficient. IF you want power or better times, there's a 0 to 60 booster by Prestone or some other fuel additives you can use, but these are harmfull in the long run, no harm done if a few times.

That almost 1/2 sec quater mile sounds like (no offense) B/S

i'm not the one making the up the numbers...i'm merely relaying info i found on internet. look yourself.

Uh, yeah it can. They may be adding this 'stuff' to a fully built engine and done other things to vehicle to obtain such numbers. They aren't obligated to tell you that other information.
I have to agree with 'ali' on this one.
