Is that mounted straight or are my eyes screwing with me, well since cincinattlguy19's TL is no longer, looks like I'm the new owner of the brushed steel trim of yours.

Yeah? Haha I didn't know that trim was so popular. It's unfortunate to hear about cincinattlguy19's TL though
On another note, did the fog mod

Yeah it's a little f***** up so I'll probably sand and wrap it. Because I don't want to ruin my wood grain. Get VLED switch backs and then drive with Fogs and Parking lights on you'll love it. They're pricey I know but I've had mine for 4 years no issues. You will need to T tap an Ohm resistor though so you don't get 'mexi' flash.

Damn! Good tip! They look dope, I really might get some!
Just T-Tap a 1-Ohm resistor in on the positive cable on each harness? $80 seems worth it, if they're as good as they look on YouTube
I knooooww I'm still saving for coils, I just refuse to go cheap on suspension on this car.
Thanks man hahahaha the $20 action-bong that always does the job!

Hey guys!! My TL and I had a very eventful Spring Break!
First off, the big step!
Coilovers! My girl and I spent a couple days struggling, but we ended up getting them in. Here's how the TL sits now.
Also...
Fenders rolled & liners cut!
Also, did a little painting
Aaaaaannddddd ... Gave a shot at getting a pearl finish on my engine cover.

Nice progress.
I would suggest colour matching the battery cover if you still have it, to match the engine colour.
Thinking of spacers or better offset rims to improve the stance at all?
Do the coils let you go any lower, or no?
Doesn't look like you pulled the fenders, so, that would have to be a consideration if you decide to get lower offset rims/spacers.

My wheels are only 1/2 in wider than OE spec, so of course I'm planning to get a new wheel setup eventually, when my finances permit it
My fenders actually are rolled, the liners have been removed, and tabs have been trimmed all the way around. I made posts about all of this earlier in this thread; if you'd like to look
Coilovers go plenty lower, but at this height, the front fenders still rub at full wheel lock; and when I have anyone in the back, my exhaust scrapes when I accelerate lol

Ah ok, well, if you aren't fond of all the plastic, then, makes sense.
Saw through the thread, but because your fenders aren't pulled only rolled, that may help with some of your rubbing issues.
What was the spring rate of the coilovers?

As far as spring rates, they come with 12k and 6k. Is it a good idea to adjust them myself? I've been told not to mess with them haha
#78
I wouldn't mess with the pre-load, especially if there is still warranty coverage on the coils.
Let the manufacturer do that, that way there is no chance of voiding the warranty.
