^^^ Me too-they've given me whatever is around to drive. I think I've only had a TL once or twice in 5 years.

Just got home from picking up my TL after the Timing Belt service.

The old timing belt looked to be in good condition still, but with some noticeable wear on it. Probably could have made it to 105k, which is still another 20k that would take me 2 years to hit. I average 10-12k a year. With the TL already being 8 years old and with the good price, decided to get it done early as preventative maintenance and now one less thing to worry about with it being done.

I paid a total of $662.56, which was $629.95 + tax and shop supplies. They knocked off $50 from the original $679.95 since I didn't need the drive belt due to my UR Underdrive Crank Pulley.

Below are a couple pics of the old timing belt

SOB, just got a slight curb rash on my front passenger wheel.

i judged the curb wrong due to all of the snow the past couple days. i'm normally good about avoiding curbs, this is my first in the past 5-6 years.

i had the RonJon Rev Wheels for over 2 years with no damage. You not noticeable far away, but its there up close. i have 245/40/18 tires, so it helped, otherwise it would probably be worse.

What a coincidence Will...the same thing happened to me a short while ago Glad I have those fresh new 19's ready to be mounted up as soon as the weather levels out a bit. My curb rash is just on the lip as well, not terrible but I notice it of course. Over-corrected one too many times unfortunately...I never have issues like this either. I'm gonna have it refinished by Woody's Wheel Works in Denver probably in early fall (I've heard great things about them, plus they've been in business for like 30 years). I suggest taking yours to them if you still have your stockies to swap back on the TL or can have it sit in the garage for a couple days. Probably would run $125-150 or so based on the last time I talked to them.

Damn snow caused it the both of us. Yea, its not really noticeable until you get up close to it, but i know its there. I'll give them a call to see how much. With my wheels, the whole face and lip is machined aluminum, no paint, just clear coat.

Same with my Legends dude...machined face with clear coat. They should be able to refinish though based on what I've discussed with them before. If you do go with them, let me know how it turns out

i was in the area today, so i stopped by their shop so they could see the damage and get a accurate estimate.

since its a machined finish, they won't be able to match it exactly.

option 1, fix the curb rash, but that would repaint the entire lip around the wheel, but it would be polished, so it would be noticeable up close, this would cost $100

option 2, fix the curb rash, but re-paint the entire surface, so the entire wheel would be polished, but won't match the machined face of the other 3 wheels, this would cost $200

i'm going to pass on getting it fixed, its only noticeable when you get up close. maybe sometime in the summer, i'll look in to replacing the entire wheel, its currently $250 for a new one from RonJon. It's possible RonJon may decide to discontinue this wheel in the future.

Good to know dude, I appreciate you posting the info. I'll probably go with option 1, especially because these wheels are going to become my dedicated winter set next season. Plus my Legends in this finish are discontinued, so I'll take what I can get. Not a bad price & I saw a bunch of their work online...looks legit!

Nice progress thus far

I feel your pain with the curb rash having curbed some of my nice wheels over the years.

Question for you, which backup camera did you decide to go with? Had any issues with it yet?

I was just using it for the backup camera and felt like I could of used the money for something else, which went to the JnC headlights

It's been awhile since I posted a update.

I recently sold my LED Door Sills, NRG Engine Damper, and Stock J-Pipe. In return, I picked up a Brand New set of Innovative Engine Mounts V2 and a set of TL-S Tail Lights.

They'll be here next week and will probably spend Father's Day installing everything.

I'll post up pics of everything.

Got the Innovative Mounts V2 on Monday, here are some pics

I installed the Front and Side Mounts today, here is what the front mount looked like when I removed it.

I had replaced the side mount probably 3 months ago, so it was still good, but the old side mount was broken too.

Not looking forward to doing the rear mount, but will attempt it on Friday.

The TL-S Taillights get here tomorrow

First time I saw those mounts
How much were they?
Do you get a vibration at idle?

they're newly redesigned by Innovative, released a couple months ago. I got them from another member who got it as part of a groupbuy on V6P

You can get them from Innovative
http://www.innovativemounts.com/Prod...ductCode=10750

I have minor vibration so far from just the front and side installed. I will have to replace my rear mount as its most likely blown as well, since the front and side were blown.

So I was able to swap out the rear motor mount last night, the vibrations after the rear mount were definitely noticeable in gear, but with the A/C on, the car is shaking.

Did some reading up on V6P, it looks like the vibrations are worse or more harsh for Autos compared to Manual.

The vibrations were a bit too much for me and the Wifey definitely would not approve, so I swapped the stock rear mount back in. It was in perfect condition, no damage.

With the stock rear and Innovative Front and Sides, the vibrations are minimal, even with the A/C on. I also re-did the rubber tubing for the OEM Mounts that go to the Valve Solenoid. Its now just one straight tube going to the rear mount.

Won't be installing the TL-S tails this weekend, upon inspecting them when i got them, there was some damage to one of the tails during shipment. There were scratches/scuffs on the lens of the right tail, so i'm waiting on a replacement.

SOB, windshield got hit with a rock in the top passenger corner while driving, turned in to crack and started spreading across the windshield.

I have glass coverage on my TL through State Farm, so the windshield is being replaced at no cost to me. Its being replaced with AP Tech glass based off of what everyone on here has said about it being the OEM glass.

This is the second time its happened to my TL. The first time was right when I bought TL over 3 years ago. Not even a month of owning it, rock chip hit the center bottom of the glass and it spread across the entire length of the windshield. At this time, didn't know about the AP Tech, so it was replaced with something else.
