Its perfect right now, I have no urge to do or buy anything for the TL.

When I do have some time, I've been doing a couple of maintenance things with the wife's ML550.

Good for you, Will. I modified my Type S for 5 years. I finally just stopped and "enjoyed the ride".

Gave the TL a proper detail, light clay, light compound, and polish. I then protected it with Optimum Gloss-Coat, which is Semi-permanent and good for up to two years. Its all protected and ready for Winter.

I normally would of stayed with my All Season tires for the Winter, but they didn't fare so well with the past snow storm we had. Previous years, I would just stay home when it snowed a lot, but I gotta get my son to school.

Saw a excellent deal on Craigslist the other day for some 04-06 Base TL wheels with Snow Tires and decided to buy them. The seller also decided to throw in a extra wheel he said.

yea, it was a deal i couldn't pass up, $350 for the Wheels/Tires and the extra 5th Wheel.

The A-Specs were cleaned and stored away safely for the winter. I also took off the Adaptec Spacers so they don't get rusted from snow and the chemicals used on the roads.

Honestly, I've often considered snow tires but then I'm like...what good would they even do. So I skip it and just keep my all seasons on year round.

It's been awhile since I posted a update, so here we go

Ever since I coated the car with Optimum Gloss Coat, I have a new routine for washing the TL. It only takes 20 minutes using Optimum No Rinse with 2 Gallons of Water, then while drying, use Optimum Opti-Seal. The Dry Me Crazy towel is great, dries the whole car without having to wring out the towel.

That's what I like to call skimming a post.
In b4 he comes and tells you he knew that and how you're doing it wrong.

I actually did ONR for a while...it serves a purpose but on NBP...I really needed the extra peace of mind to use water and traditional method. Looks awesome though, Will!

Thanks man

I'm with you on NBP being harder to take care of. My wifes Obisidian Black Pearl ML550 is coated with Opti-Coat Pro and ONR works great on it.

A car coated with a Optimum product such as Gloss Coat or Opti-Coat Pro, definitely makes the car much easier to wash and keep clean.
