Wilz - What are you running for tires (make and size)? I'm sure it says it in here somewhere but I can't find it.

I decided on Aspec suspension for the TLS and they're scheduled to deliver today. Took the Aspecs off the 04 and plan on eventually mounting them on the TLS. I'm considering running 245/40/18 to lessen the gap. Spacers are certainly in the near future also. Thanks

Looking like Bridgestones from the pictures...size, based on the lip being somewhat protected, I bet you're spot on. 245/40.

The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS, size is 235/40/18. I originally did get the 245/40, but after running them for a day, I did not like how bulky they looked so I exchanged them for the 235/40.

Also, from the reading I did on here, the 235/40 is more of a Sport/Handling Tire for the TL, where the 245/40 is more for comfort.

I had always assumed the other way around.

I know this is kinda late, but damn I like that RSX.

Nothing new to report on the TL, but was browsing through some old pics and came across these pics of my old RSX-S. I forgot how cleaned it looked, was a lot of work to keep NBP clean.

Actual update this time.....

Just got done installing a Airaid 4" UBI Intake and AEM Dryflow Filter with cover.

I had done the Intake Resonator delete, so it was very easy to remove the stock intake. I did the Airaid install without removing the front bumper.

I was running the stock intake with the 3.5 setup for awhile, but with the Airaid 4" Intake, it feels so much better. It pulls hard and is not that much louder.

Just realized a mistake in my post, I meant 3.7L Setup, not 3.5

Feels much better now since it was previously being restricted by the stock intake.

I tried to use the pieces of the UBI mentioned by others, but that setup didn't work for me since I have a 0.75" Intake Manifold Spacer.

Will...that thermal gasket you have there? That don't look like .75" to me!

That's the P2R Throttle Body Gasket you see. I have a MDX Intake Manifold Spacer milled down to 0.75" below the Intake Manifold, basically the same thing as the Intake Manifold Spacer that P2R is selling, except I got it for a third of the price.

ahhh...gotcha, yeah, I thought TB, not intake. I have the intake thermal gasket too...but it's skinny. I should have kept one of the thermal gaskets for the TB too...but, meh, not that important. I do like this 4" tubing though.

i have one P2R Thermal Intake Gasket as well, its between the Spacer and Manifold.

yea, you can customize to fit. i bought everything separate, its cheaper than buying the all in one kit from Airaid.

Enjoy your weekend too.

Total cost of my parts was $230.74
1 x Airaid 4" UBI - 100-400 - $104.90
1 x Spectre Intake 4" to 3.5" Reducer - 9741 - $11.87
3 x Spectre Intake 4" Coupler - 9771 - $11.33
1 x AEM Dryflow Filter - 21-2057DK - $48.99
1 x AEM Dryflow Cover - 1-4007 - $30.99

There are two separate Airaid UBI 4" kits

This one would require buying additional

Yea, the Airaid UBI is great, took a little bit of fitting to customize it to fit, but worked out great.

I don't know anyone that mills it, I found someone on V6P who was selling the milled spacer cheap.

Thanks for taking the time to put that list together, man.
I'd likely look into just the coupling/piping since I already have a dryflow.

no problem, you might be able to get away with using less couplers than me since your Intake Manifold doesn't sit higher, see this post

Went for a cruise tonight with the windows down, noticed a whistle under light throttle in the lower rpms. Did a search on here and looks like its normal to hear a whistle with CAI on the TL.

and yes the whistle is normal with the CAI....

I would just make sure there is no leak from the couplers letting in unfiltered air...

Yea, its crazy. It was like 80 degrees last weekend and 70+ all last week.

The snow is the heavy and wet kind, so all the trees and bushes are all weighed down cause of it. I had to shutoff the sprinklers since its suppose to be freezing tonight and we had to move all the potted plants in to the garage to protect them.
