Thanks man thats a big compliment to be your favorite acura! You must not have seen the acuras that i have seen haha. I've thought about making the decklid black, or even a carbon fiber one. Are you going to throw your car in HIN Tampa on the 14th of April? I think you should.

Wow, that looks freakin amazing. I usually am not a fan of two tone cars but that looks great and goes perfectly with the wheels.

Nice work but i gotta ask, are your mirrors missing? I have no time to check the forum lately so you may have answered in previous posts but i was curious, whats up with them

Thanks man! The oem mirrors are in my garage and if you look closely you will see some miniature APR carbon fiber mirrors that are intended for an integra. I call them training mirrors as they train the naked eye to look carefully when looking in the rear of the car.

Not big on gold or black rims either. A car can look aggressive and classy at the same time. If going for a pure aggressive look then this car rates an A....but it just looks too much like a car that I would see in a hip hop video or something. Not that there is anything wrong with that, just not some people's taste.

Very Hot!!!

Smoke those damn headlights and either black out the rear side markers and tails or get the 07 type-s stufff

Would look super hot with real dark tint tails and rear markers and blacked out headlights..... Especially if you have the black plastic parts inside the headlights painted WDP WOW that would be nasty

nice

Did those splitters on either end come with the bumper or did you purchase them seperately?

The fitment actually looks really good. I think you are looking at the same thing I am the which is the gap in between the hood and the grill/bumper. I honestly think that's the hood. If I am not mistaken he has a carbon fiber hood.

Completely not my style, and especially with this genre of vehicle, but I can most definitely appreciate your creativity and artistic approach for your ride. I like it on principle alone.

A couple questions, though:

No headlight clearing?
Why the gold rims (instead of, let's say, black)?
What's the deal with the pelican?

Oddly enough...I just got my Honda Tuning magazine in the mail yesterday. I subscribed after we started talking about it a while back. Look forward to seeing your car featured. That is really cool and quite some accomplishment.

I have been thinking about having modified magazine do a feature on my car in relation to our Winged Warrior Performance Challenge this year as opposed to Kevins EVO....but I would have to transform my car into a sticker-mobile to do it for advertising and sponsors we have covering the event.

The rims are bronze, not gold. i actually think I would have preferred gold Volk LE-37t's (Polished lip) on here as opposed to bronze TE-37, but nonetheless still like my favorite car on this board.

Bronze and gold are very similar in color. Not only that, but both have varying shades of color, so one could easily be mistaken for the other. Hence, I mistook this bronze for gold. Thanks for the "schooling," though.

Yeah I'm pretty stoked about it, and have been waiting in anticipation since september which has been half a year since the photoshoot. Did you see the article about the 25 hour endurance race with the TypeS TL? It's amazing the TL ran better lap times than the spoon Legend so it makes me wonder why AWD is all hyped up.

It would be cool to have another WDP TL featured in a import magazine...we would be covering ground if you could land that.

1)..too much hassle to open the headlight housing.
2) Bronze TE37s are signature JDM styled racing rims. Extremely lightweight forged monoblock construction. Can't beat them, they're lovely. They also make them in black FYI.
3) The pelican or swan is a logo for a Honda raceteam called Spoon Sports. The TL is a car Spoon has chosen not to modify and it makes me sad, so i'm pretending mine is a spoon TL.

...here's my TL amongst a few of Spoon Sports modified Hondas...CL7, DC5, and Fit

Do you know if it is in stores yet? Because I know the subscribers get it first and then the big stores get it. Do you know what car is on the front cover?

The April issue is in the newstands, or atleast it was in Barnes and Nobles earlier when i went there. Theres a 4th gen Prelude on the front. The issue with my feature will probably be in the next one.

Thanks for the breakdown; I appreciate it. As someone else has mentioned (and as is probably pretty obvious), I'm pretty new to import tuning. Questions #2 and #3 were pretty glaring indications of that. Feel free to n00b me at any time.

Anyway, your ride looks great; I love the originality of it. It's too bad Spoon didn't want to take you on. Looks like they missed out!

That and the side skirts. They just don't seem to line up as smoothly as aspec kit (which it is a direct copy of) If you look where the bumper and the skirts meet the fender it just doesn't line up. I'm anal but shouldn't I be about a $35K car?

Other wise it looks friggin
