Honestly, none...
maybe brake upgrade? engine damper? new front tires? soft top install? rear side strakes to match from lip? Differential collars? CR clear sidemarkers?
Oh, seriously...no plans, man. Going to just enjoy it like it sits
The TL is sleeping outside so the advans are tucked away for now.
I can almost feel your pain. Thank you!
I love and hate you so much too, bro.
LMAO, Adam
So come watch me drive it then!
WOW...and wtf did that thread die in September. I want to see the outcome!

Congrats on the new ride J. I'm sure you will have a blast driving it. I would def stick with not modding it. You gotta be able to enjoy driving it and not worry about pot holes n stuff like with the TL. But def good luck with it. Drive safe

Hmmm...well, it's hard to say if it's faster on paper or with stats...but I can promise you that it FEELS FASTER, not sure if RWD, or real Vtec, or DOHC or the lighter car...but that shift at redline from 2nd to 3rd is absolutely exhilirating. And driving it...the steering, I mean, it's absolute perfection. I'm telling you, once you drive one, you'll know whether or not you'll be in love with it.
Yes Meko, as soon as I posted to flickr, I texted a select few that I knew would see it!
Thanks Steven, I still fight it...buyer's remorse, did you really NEED That?!! Always a battle for me...doesn't help that without the soft top I can't really go topless which is a HUGE allure to driving this car, for me.

Wow big congrats J!!!!
I love s2k and hate you!!! Seriously, that will be the one if I'm getting one for fun later. Actually, I've been searching one for awhile, but I have to wait for now. Cause I just purchased house. I hope I can get one sooner than later...
Again, congrats!!!!

let the mods begin then....I like your plans
with the S2000, I would have just gotten brakes, rims, coils, intake, headers, exhaust....I would leave it at that...the handling of the S2000 is just marvellous, but it does lack a little power....in a straight line (rolling start), I bet your TL will destroy the S2K but around the corners the s2k takes the cake and is a lot more fun to drive...
I would definitely look into some power upgrades....and the market is sooooo open for the s2k owners...whether it comes to tuning and mad power or just a little more ooomph....
have I mentioned that I love the car?
Great choice man....just couple months back Morgan and I were texting and he told me, leave the TL alone and look into something different....we were discussing the s2000 and how you cant go wrong with that car....

Hey, hopefully you get some version of the feeling i get by owning 2 cars (which i had never done before). When i drive the TL for a couple days i love the speed, sound and looks but i miss the comfort of the truck. Then when i go drive the truck for a couple days its like ahhhhh, how comfortable but after a couple days i miss the speed, sound, and looks of the TL. Get back in the TL and its Ahhhh, feels good to be back.
Its a revolving door of ohhhs and ahhhs and so far never gets old. With your 2 cars its totally different, plus the soft top is going to be soooo different but maybe you will get the same yin/yang feeling i get with mine.
Thx God for cars!! Especially Honda's. :-)
PS---more interior pics

Thanks Anil...I love it too and for now, it honestly doesn't feel underpowered. I am not planning TOO many mods for it, but you already know how that goes. LOL

So have you been DD'ing both while it's still new to you?
Got to drive a friend's RSX-S with intake once... for all the bashing that VTEC gets, it really is fun rowing through the gears.

But seriously, 400whp in a car that light with the top down? Imagine the possibilities. I know I'll be right there with you if you go down that route when I get my next S2000.

Enjoy it, I shall!
Dudes, drove it to work today, nice 70 deg weather! I can't wait to get that soft top on so I can truly enjoy the car as intended. I'm not even kidding, I can't imagine how much MORE I'll love the car with the top off!

I bet it was! Looked fast too, which I'm sure it was.
Found out from the guy I bought the car from last night that he ended up taking the money and buying another one. I have a feeling it was his plan from the start, although for liking the OEM look so much, he certainly gave up on it with the new one. He's buying his buddy's turbo S, 2005 with 408 to the rear wheels. Must be a blast to drive! I'm not sad though, for what I wanted the car for, more stock form was more my speed anyway.
I have the side strakes, cr clear side markers and some new oem mats on order. The mats were the only thing that looked dingy/worn inside the car.

well judging from the pix, I think you got yourself a sweet ride....
and the DIY-er that you are if you encounter anything (which I hope you dont), you will fix it without much sweat, thats for sure....
I would recommend a little mod sheet like Morgan had for the FRS, it will be a nice way to track how you got the car, things which you did and as you keep progressing, keep adding to it....this way you will always have an updated sheet of things done
