honestly, if i enjoy driving that car 10 out of 10 because of how it handles...i enjoy driving it 30 out of 10 when the top is off...it FEELS like a go cart when the top is off and you can see the world around you. I love it.

S2000 owners are a rare breed but there's one thing in common. They all LOVE their car! People that don't own one or drive one regularly and just go based on numbers and hp and this and that really won't get it.

I've only ever ridden in an S2000 once...but I get it, I loved it. I got rid of a 2 seater sports coupe, 350Z, when I got my TL, I'm too damn old to climb in and out of em anymore.

ha ha...well, if you felt that way about the Z...I'm sure the S would have you hunched over hurting in no time. Getting in and out is an absolute art that takes practice.

Such a fun car...I've said it many times: but, how far Honda has fallen in regards to cars of the S2K ilk.

Is an updated Prelude too much to ask?!??

Exactly how many times have you said it?

I think a prelude in RWD would be phenomenal. I think the RWD is the key!

Sure, I'll settle for that too.
Honestly, in having a FWD and RWD at the same damn time...I feel like there's just no real way to make a FWD as much fun as RWD. So if the goal is to make the enthusiast community a car...it needs to be at least RWD or AWD.

Hey, at least they made it really easy to re-install the soft top!

Was like a jiggsaw puzzle where I had to test bolts and holes and try and figure out where everything goes. Then, I realize the guy didn't include the soft top latches. In the meantime, I'll likely swap over the ones that are on the hard top, if they'll work...

I'm also missing one of the weatherstripping sections on the driver side.

Jeremy is back

That looks like a lot of work man.
Yeah use the ones from hard top I don't think you will go back to hard top again hehe

I hate how those convertible soft tops look on the cars but not on s2k
I love it, may be the design pulls it so great.

Fuck...hard top latches are only to be used with hard top latches. I'm so annoyed with the ebay seller right now.

Damn, I didn't know the soft top installation was that labor intensive

LMAO...he's done right by me thus far. Missing motors, bam, talked to him Monday, had them by Wednesday. I'm sure he'll do the same for the other missing parts.

Dennis, no shit, right? And that's JUST popping in a fairly complete top. Main reason I bought it is I knew I'd have to bite the bullet on all the hardware and the actual frame. The fabric is not in bad condition...honestly, I kinda like the contrast on the silver with the black top. I would go top down but no fkn shit, yesterday, gorgeous day...out of nowhere...rain.

I need to put the interior back in, actually but I'm trying to think logically on what goes back in first with the top in. There's LITERALLY no DIY's on FRAME soft top reinstallation.

Honestly, Ken...if you just take a deep breath and not focus on how long it'll take...it's actually somewhat therapeutic. SOMEWHAT...lol...even after uninstall last night, I've managed 3 mess ups that make me unbolt 16 fkn bolts to put a plastic under first. Let me know when you're ready to do yours and I might be able to give you some tips.

Nothing like firsthand experience.

J.

Hard top isn't going anywhere...just gives me the option to actually enjoy the top down on more than just a 2 mile radius from home.

Maj...no kidding, I'm missing the soft top latches from the ebay seller. He needs to ship them to me. Tried to make the hard top latches work but not fkn dice at all.
