I am swapping all my front studs for the 40MM threaded studs rather than the 45's I had that came with the eibach (ichiba uses a 40MM for 10MM spacers and a 50 for 15 and up?!?!) Since I had to drill out two of the original eibach 45MM ones and quickly replaced with oem sized ones...I want to swap ALL of them over to 40's which will leave me with plenty of room to run my Work closed ended lugs (that ones for you ebelp!)
haha funny....I still have the red Works in the back of my head. In the front of my head is a new lens for my camera...I want something fancy to bring to south FL later this month...

Well, considering you're not bringing your car anyway...I say go for the lens. Then save for the lugs AND the WDP painted visors!

J.

Ty, yes sir...but honestly, I was checking prices on other lugs...I'd have to take a major hit on selling the work lugs...AND spend a lot on another set etc...so swapping the studs seems like the path of least resistance. Plus, probably won't take me more than 30 minutes each side at this point. I'll just get my earthquake impact hammer ready to rock.

Ok...DOWN and OUT tonight:

all studs up front swapped to 40MM ones to accomodate the 10MM spacer AND still be able to use the work lugs.

Front pads switched to the powerstop ones (since I was selling on ebay for dirt cheap and no bites)...yes, they STOP hard!

All work lugs back on...

All of this done between 535pm and 750pm including bedding in the pads. Not bad!

backburner...tried to pop the cap off the rear spindle to unbolt the nut and pull the rear hub out to swap out a semi damaged stud...was told it was a 24MM nut...no dice...it's not even a 27...I'm thinking it's probably a 29 or 30. Oh well...next time.

Tomorrow morning, 15MM v1 spacers on the front of the accord and clean her car. Got a few parties to go to etc...want to show up in a clean car.

Ok, and for Saturday morning, cleaned fiancee's car...then installed 15MM front V1 spacers...look great but her oem wheels didn't have enough clearance on the back to accommodate the oem stud sticking out. I tried to use my dremel to grind the raised lettering inside down a bit, but to no avail.

Ended up being a good thing for her though...I put the aspecs back on her car.
1...she's starting a new job in a nice neighborhood next Monday
2...she's NOT put any new curbage on her oem's in a long time
3...aspecs are already curbed and kinda repaired
4...I am in love with my works and not swapping back and forth anymore
5...I have 2 sets of locks on em...

Enjoy...
aspecs...she's on h&r springs with 1 dead coil cut off rear, 25MM rear spacer and 15 front...

Thanks fellas...YEAH, with the spacers, they are sitting SUPER flush all the way around!

She's happy, needless to say.
Much better video I took with my Galaxy 2S...
pretty funny, there was some sort of emergency siren in the backround and the camera captured her led drl's as flashing lights. They don't flash in real life...

Sean, for sure man...if it wasn't for you, i'd still be posting up some super overexposed and over saturated crap.

Thanks again!

Anil, something about the way the camera captures the cycling of the led's...they don't blink in person.

Steve, heck yes...realized when I listened to it later...it looked like it was her car was an emergency vehicle.

^^^Hey, that's right!!! Happy Birthday John!
Mine is Sunday. 33, baby...in the best shape of my life.
PS...yeah, I used to straighten the wheel out...then I realized my top center of my steering wheel is getting abused by the sun, so now I cut it to the side that sees the least action. Unless I put up my sun shade, of course.

Yeah, sent you a text about it....had to call McGard and send them pictures of my locks so they could determine which key I need because the Acura dealer did not provide me with the McGard registration card. Luckily McGard is in Buffalo, so I should have a replacement key tomorrow or Wednesday. Only set me back $15. If this one breaks I'm not gonna be happy. I can only imagine what you went through when you had your lug issue a couple weeks ago....I was fuming last night.

LOL...but now that they're on...SO gorgeous!

Thanks John, very much. Dang, you're making me feel insecure about it now! I hope it doesn't disappoint!

About the visors, I agree, totally and if I didn't say it before, thanks for the push to get them. You were right, they look much better.

What I really want is an improvement with the fkn FACEBOOK app...

Got some pretty cool pictures this weekend...I'll have to post them up soon.
Here are some I took on Thursday. Coworker and good friend of mine bought a TL. He was between a TL and 4 door accord. He ended up with an AM with light colored interior. Only bad thing is I pointed out that it might have been crashed...he had it checked out and I was right. It was...so he turned it in. He's going to be shopping for another one this weekend. I think I've forgotten how modded my car is.

J.

Thanks, T...I'm glad you asked.
Well, for my birthday, for my car I asked for:
mishimoto magnetic drain plug for the next oil change.
mishimoto weighted shift knob (it's a taller slender one that'll put my hand above my coffee mug and weighs about 4 times what the monsterknobs one does)

I've also ordered some molykote 44 and some plastic syringes to be able to squirt it into my clutch master cylinder. It creaks, especially when it's raining out and the over the counter stuff wasn't lasting long enough. We'll see how I fare with this.

Damn dude, your car makes me wanna go the all black route like I did with my truck... but Im gonna try my best to not do it again and let my spending get out of control.... Your car is definitely my fav on the site. I have a couple questions if you dont mind- 1- it looks like there is a tiny bit of amber in your headlights still, whats the deal with that? 2- Where did you get the tails, or did you do em???
