I see the TL thread is being neglected with the S2K in the driveway
J, can you shoot me a PM with what I would need to do the tails the way you did them originally? Not the new ones you just put on but the blacked out ones
I'm thinking I might do my front headlights and tails this coming week before I put on my coils, I'm just a little nervous sealing them back up.

Shit, don't be nervous sealing them up. It's cutting them open that's nerve wracking.
Yeah, same thing happened with the old one. TL go put on back burner...but I'm okay with that. At some point in my life, I'm sure I'll HAVE to drive the TL.
I don't know what to tell you, honestly...cut along the seem, don't cut too deep, then cut vertically along your cuts once you separated the shell to get the bezel out. OEM or Depo...eagle eyes and TYC don't allow you to remove the bezel. Back together is same shit, butyl bead down...press together, put 2 screws back in then smooth with your wet finger.
Honestly, if I hadn't already had the experience, I'd send them to Bruce Ack05TL to get em done right.

See sending them state-side means no car for a week at least - Pretty much out of the question for me. I might hold off on the tails and try my hand at the headlights first - at least that doesn't involve taking a dremel to them...
He has an exchange program. You won't have down time.

I love the new style better. Still rocking the orange in the Brembos and lugs during the day then at night the amber comes through in the lights; it's the best of both world's.
Awww snap!
Thanks, man!

It's not as pristine as the pictures would leave you believe...
I just wash and use Wolfgang's Deep Gloss Paint Sealant every 3 months.

New tails look good!
Every time you switch up the little things (tails, lugnuts) it reminds me of the feeling you get after brushing your teeth. The teeth are still the same, the car is still the same - but it feels freshhhh. You know?

Thanks, man...
currently...owning the S2000 has scratched the itch and brought me back to reality. No car payment and 2 reliable Hondas serving very different purposes is something I think I'll be satisfied with for a very long time.
