Always lookin clean man. I read your thread about Bi and had to check out more pics of the flushness. Very clean!! I was wondering does the V2 have any vibrations when driving? I keep hearing about spacers with vibration. Thanks man!

no sir...first of all, they're only on the back...secondly, they are hubcentric so there shouldn't be ANY vibrations. Get a quality one though...

Same with the exhaust, I have Jpipe and stage 3 and am super happy with sound/performance and love the stock tips so wouldn't consider an exhaust.

No way, didn't feel like you were hating at all man...I have thought about it...but haven't pulled the trigger cause they're so expensive!

About the spacers...congrats!!! where did you order from? I'm wanting that exact setup for my girl's 08 accord...her stock wheels are super sunken in!

There was a member that posted a set of 15mm/25mm in the black market right after I was reading your thread last night. Haha....needless to say, I scooped them up right after talking to you. I called a place up locally a little while ago and they charge $25/day for a fender roller. Been awhile since my last mod....

25 a day for fender roller is a great price...
you can buy a heat gun at home depot for 20 bucks...and if you keep it clean you can return it too, although there are many uses for one so I kept mine.

Good luck and post up pics!

haha....good point about the heat gun. I've been using the wifey's hairdryer so everything auto related so this would be a perfect reason to upgrade and "return" her hairdryer back to her....if she'll take it back....

I'll most def post pics!

Small update:
Picture my fiance messed with for me.
Pretty cool spot near the sawgrass mall...a pseudo entrance...
Also, hadn't taken any pics like this since I had the original diffusers in the headlight and didn't have the grill painted by a pro yet. Also, with the more aggressive stance and fenders rolled.

THanks man!!! Yeah, my front bumper is very chipped...one day, maybe I'll do a conversion, although I like the 04-06 fronts with aspec better. I'd have to see...would want to do that and also put a clear bra on.

Not sure if anyone answered the question you asked about your mirrors.. but every TL has a blue hue to the mirrors. Makes all the halogen headlights from other cars look like bright white HIDs lol

Nice whip btw. Hopefully we can have that meet soon.. Hope I get my wheels/drop before then at least..

So I got my RK6's on Wednesday. Had a chance to install today. Took 8 hours...and did it right the first time.
A bit bigger than my Hifonics mids...was running these with no crossover and stock tweet.

Here's the set

The tweeter, didn't want to cut up dash or go too crazy, with the bottom removed, I glued the top on with a hot glue gun.

Looks weird from this angle, but I promise it looks good and doesn't draw attention, which is what I wanted.

I had already prewired the passenger side once, and cut the metal opening bigger so that side went easy/smooth. Just added more deadener INSIDE the door skin as well as any bigger areas of metal that might reverberate. Not too difficult. Hoping it helps a little with road noise too.

The rings I had jigsawed out of plywood for the hifonics got the job done without issue. Running the wiring thru kick area into the doors was interesting. Ended up using the dremel to cut a little channel to run the wire thru, cut it within the area where the rubber grommet covers so it's still weatherproof. Did solder and heatshrink on all connections. I'm too old to have to spend double the time looking for loose connections etc so I take a little extra and git er done right the first time.

Also, didn't have any nonhardening clay, but I DID have a tub of plumber's putty so I shoved it all around the areas where air might escape. Should do the trick.

Ok, my impressions...WOW. These speakers are LOUD and can take a lot of juice. I tried bridging 340 watts rms to them 2 channel, but was getting a high level whine and also I didn't like not having the rears. I kept the rears at the same level and juiced these up a bit using the amp and I have to say that my car sounds absolutely amazing, super crisp, clear and my ears are actually the limiting factor with turning the music up now. Usually, the speakers I've had in the past...I turn the gain up to whatever they can handle and they distort before they're uncomfortably loud. These speakers get crisp and clear and loud with no distortion and I have to turn it back down. Exactly what I wanted. Don't know why I was running such a ghetto setup for so long knowing my front speakers were my weakest link.

Thanks BZ...yeah, got a KILLER deal on this DSLR with some extras. Am very happy with it and will start messing with it and learning how to use it shortly. Nice car pics...coming soon!
