Wow, 19x10 +18 on 255 tires in the rear? This... I have to see in person. Would be one of the most awesome TL's in the GTA if you can pull that off without destroying your fenders through the roads of scarborough

I only got one set of spacers for now for the front because the rims didn't clear the brembos. But if the front is all flush and the rear sits like a sunken ship, then I'm going to have to buy another set to even it out...

That's a nice set of parts you got lined up for the TL.

The guys at Nextmod recommended the BC Racing Coilovers to me as well but I'm not sure which direction to go quite yet.
Do let me know how the ride quality is with your drop as I will probably do something similar. (1.5-.75")

I can attest to the roads in Scarborough not being lowered car friendly especially after the winter we've just had.

If you guys are planning a TL meet at Nextmod let me know as I would be down as well.

The +18 is only if I put those 15mm spacers in the back, otherwise it'll be +33 with just rim offset.

From what I was told, Eric (the one with the same TL as me but with the front/rear skirt under the A-spec kit) tried the Tien SS first and then moved on to BC Racing. His review was that the Tein's were harder and more "bouncy". He made the switch over to BC Racing and he's much happier with how they ride. Plus the difference is that when you lower the car on Tein SS Coilovers, you're actually loosing suspension travel whereas the BC Racing Coils let you adjust the bottom end so you have the same travel even if you lower your ride. You can see by the pictures that they have another ring at the bottom to adjust where the coil sits on your lower arm.

Don't exactly know until the shop puts them in, but I'm going to watch them do everything and take some pictures as well so I'll post the updates when everything is done.

Not too sure about Tein vs BC but Eric ordered his BC's with custom spring rates which were super stiff. Without super stiff spring rates, I think its better to have less travel and hit the bumpstops rather than have more travel and have the rim hit the fender or have the tire rip out the fender liner.

But i do see where the more travel can come in handy for track setups.

Oh my goodness.. That is gorgeous. Nice to see a glossy KBP Are you running 6K drl's and 6k switchbacks in those headlights? Or is it switchbacks with hids?

I'm still on the fence with the tl-s front a-spec lip though. I'd do the 04-06 custom conversion if I had the talent and money lol.

That's 6k switchbacks with 6k hid bulbs, but there are 6k led drl's and 6k halos which were not shown in the pictures. As of right now, the drl's are disconnected cuz the halos replace the drl's and it looks better in the daytime with just that and the 2.5k fogs.

Did you get the 6k drl's from v-leds or ijdmtoy? I'm waiting for v-leds to get the 92smt switchbacks in stock. Once they do, I'll be ordering the 6k drl kit and switchbacks. I contacted v-leds and they said they updated the drl kit so no more output issues or error on the MID. Any problems for you?

I bought my drl's off eBay and they worked well when they were plugged in. I only used it for about a month though.

I read on this forum that the 30smt was the most reliable and that's the one I went with. The output is as bright as the 6k hids already so not really a need for 96smt. Even the 48smt, people had to mod the headlight housing just to put them in cuz they were too big so I don't know how the 96 is going to fit.

In DigitalEmpire's progress thread, he says he uses the 92 and same with SharksBreath. They didn't mention any problems installing it so I'd assume no modifications are needed.
