Wow...dang, I'm sure you felt like a tool when the guy noticed the bend. Especially since he probably didn't believe that you didn't know!

Yeah, I ended up NOT giving up on them though...they look so good on the black wheel. I just learned my lesson and hand tighten EVERY time. I even got one of those crank style ratchets to make it easier. One day I'll probably go back to a solid lug though...I miss being able use my impact gun!

the TE's are nice though...I'm not a huge fan of them, but do appreciate their quality.

October shall be fun.

Yeah basically haha. He was being a tool about the whole ordeal to begin with. Lowballing me from the get-go via text message for about 8 hours before I finally gave in... then he missed two appointments I set with him. But thats what you have to put up with on craigslist.

I feel you on the look; I like the blue lugs/black wheel combo you have on your car especially since you have the blue in your headlights and everything!

I just bought a 19.2v impact gun from sears for 90 bucks so I need to put that bish to use. Love impacting and it comes in handy since I swap wheels on a monthly basis!

Well I FINALLY chose, bought, and received my tuner lugs. Nothing special; Chrome Muteki closed end (35mm) lugs WITH locks. All for 65$. I was hoping they were a bit longer, but oh well. Guess I should have got the 50mm!

Not too bad. Got them off ebay from a seller who was asking 75 with best offer. I'm happy with them but haven't actually put them on the car yet. I'm still running A-Specs. I'll have an update by the end of the week if I can get my OTHER shipment I've been waiting for.

Here's a pic of the lugs.

Congrats on finally selling your work wheels. The Volks look nice and really want to see them installed on your car. I thought that I was a wheel whore, but you got me beat by a long shot. Lol... How about some quality Pics this time when the rims are installed instead of cell phone Pics.

He's become such a wheel hoahhhh, that he actually traded in the wheels before ever mounting them on the car. He's already on the next set. That should define the next level of wheel whoredom...get wheels and swap them out before they ever even make it on the car.

Hahahaha I showed my fiance this. Not a happy camper.

Jokes aside, she may be annoying and dumb as a bag of hammers...but damn she looks good

I'm dying to put them on too! But I've waiting waiting waiting. I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag.

I've been waiting over a week for my shipment of Blaze Orange Plastidip from Dipyourcar.com. They were on backorder (even though that was NOT mentioned on the website) but they're telling me they will be shipping out by the end of the week. I'm planning on plastidipping them bright orange because

1. I've always wanted crazy colored wheels for a bit.
2. October=Halloween, duh.
3. I think TE's in orange are f*kin sexy.

Hopefully they will look pretty similar (albeit less aggressive) to bforbrian's setup from 2010...Yeah I'm always late

Here's a video on the Blaze orange and Blaze Blue Plastidip:

I can't help it! haha. But for me, it seems I always buy someone's old wheels. I've never any of those beautiful-fresh-out-of-the-box sexy wheels. But I do have my eyes on my next set. Maybe some Work Varianza T1S from the BM

Don't worry professional pics coming from my iphone 5

Look for some Muteki ones! They seem to be pretty good quality and pretty reasonably priced!

I fucking loved Brian's setup when he had the orang Volks. Speaking of whom, where has he been? I haven't seen a thread from him or an update about his car since God knows when.

Can't wait to see those TE's put on...

^^^That's actually true, hadn't thought of that, if you have a good Plastidip base, you can change up the color as many times as you want until you want to peel it off.

Going to look COOL!
