Stop it guys or he will put HID's in his license plate
And at what point do you stop calling those license plate lights and calling them "ground behind my bumper lights"?

I am patiently waiting for retrofitsource to come out with their new morimoto x.strip, I think it'll be a great idea to mod my headlights. Thinking about leaving a regular white LED for parking lights, and re-routing the turn signal to the strip. This is a picture of the strip:
However that is the white led, I would be getting the AMBER led, which are WHITE in appearance when off, it's the same technology used in the morimoto xBA angel eyes:

I already took a measurement, and the chrome bar is approx 12" which is perfect. I will be removing the whole bar as I dont think it'll fit without making more room.

got some new front parking lights/turn signal bulbs. I used to have switchbacks but they started dying so I got these 50W crees. it's 50W because there are 10 cree chips total; 2 on top, and 8 on the sides. I dont think these will be as bright as the ultimate triton v3's, but I think these should come close

honestly its hard to capture a good pic of turn signals since its always flashing and they dont stay on constantly. it's not as bright as those new bmws and mercedes, but then again no LED on the market is brighter than those....yet. One day I will be able to custom fit something that can embarrass those german cars. I already embarrass them for license plate lights

Sweet.
Two questions:
1) What do you have for license plate lights? I've currently got the cold cathode kit but second time around on my new TL I don't want to go that route, I would much rather prefer a plug and play option.
2) Where can I get those cree switchbacks?
Thanks.

Same questions from me.
2) They are not switchbacks

They are dual chip projector LEDs. Since t10 LEDs are limited in size I decided to "upsize" to the much larger 7440 led. Its about the biggest sized forward facing LEDs for cars. That being said, it'll make the cathodes seem dim in comparison. Because of the size and different socket, it's far from plug and play. Only recommended for hardcore lighting enthusiasts.
And guitarplayer is right, these are not switchbacks. I had switchbacks but kinda got tired of them, as none of them are ever that bright, unless you spend $140 for the triton v3's. I like the amber though, it makes my hids look "whiter" in comparison. As far as I know, these should be the next brightest option short of the $140 tritons
