plugged my pcb back in earlier today! my bluetooth module finally works!
I am so thankful that I was able to have a friend who owns an electronics shop have the solder reflow oven at his shop. He said the build quality on the pcb isn't great and is prone to solder joints breaking over time, especially with the vibrations in a car.

I have been hearing a whining noise from the engine bay about 2-3 weeks ago, and was pretty sure its the alternator. However I decided against changing it just based on a bit of noise. 2 days ago, I was driving home at night, when suddenly my battery light on my dash came on, followed by airbag light, then all my lights(including headlights) and navigation started turning off and on repeatedly. Keep in mind at this point I was still on the freeway. Then the engine started stuttering(I'm guessing fuel injectors and/or spark plugs not receiving power?) I pulled off the freeway asap and parked. Car wouldn't start after shutting it off. I knew at that point it was the alternator. Had it towed home, and changed my alternator yesterday with an oem equivalent denso one. Now car is running great again.
I figured the alternator has had a good run(172k miles), so now I'm wondering how much longer my starter will last? We'll see.

Ah, good info, at least I will know if mine goes out one day lol.
My starter went out on my 6MT TL-S at around 125k miles. It went on my Base AT 04 at around the same mileage. My current TL's starter is fine, but way back when I first bought it, the starter clicked once when I turned the key and it wouldn't start for a second. Pulled the key out and tried again and it started. That was at 102k miles. Probably was a fluke, but that was the sign I saw when my starter started going bad on my last two cars. Except then, it happened a lot more often and the car would only start by tapping the starter.

Sorry you had to have it towed, but glad it was a quick fix.
