I CAN justify the prices of those wheels for sure but just not right at the moment. But your right instead of me getting something like xxr530 or the Avant Gardes I was looking at I should just fend off that temptation and like you said get something real exclusive

usdmjon, i assume you're not the typical 18-22 year old student, such as myself.
I know Oh Sickest TL is studying CE, and I'm studying ME. Engineering at a university isn't cheap
owning a car during university is considered "rich" enough where I'm from, let alone spending 2800 on wheels.
27/28 year old student? I can understand...

I assume you worked after graduating HS and before you turned 24?
lots of time to build up money in that time period
I went straight from HS into uni, true student life

Work? what is that lol.... I worked from 19-24. But ALL of that money is long gone down the drain and I Haven't worked since LOL. just on that straight up hustle man
Ive blown a lot of coin over the years from going on trips to the caribbean/south america every year to owning my TL cash and all the mods add up. That paint wasn't cheap lol. Money goes QUICK when you have bills and a GF.
I also did not have the luxury of living at home during my working period as most younger ppl do ?

I am only suggesting sickest buy wheels for 1200 (1600CAD). Not 2800.
Then after a year or two they can be rebuilt... or sold for the exact same amount if you decide you want a new face. Cant do that with XXRs as the resale value is typically half MSRP.

As for the car I was given my integra by my mother. I drove that thing forever and modded it with all the money I made in high school.
I sold that for my downpayment and now I am car broke. lmao
The wheels I had been saving for a long time. My thought on wheels isnt the same as most people here. I see most people here know exactly what design they want. I personally love too many designs to count. I could have walked away with any 1 of a hundred wheels and been super happy.
So for me, the name of the game was just save up. Keep saving until the perfect wheels show up. I was just under $3000 saved when my buddy Kervin was selling these Works that he planned to put on his girls Avalon but she sold it for an FRS. Having 3000 I swooped on those works for only 1000, dropped 400 with my buddy at Americas Tires to get them repainted (horrible idea) then another 500 for the falken tires. All in all I spend $1900. Still plan to spend another $1200 before they are done. But that entire $3200 will have been saved up for 4 years with the purpose of some baller-ass wheels.
If someone told me today to drop $3200 I would laugh in their face. Its like tattoos honestly. The first one may run you from 100-600. But after 5 years, you have 4grand worth of ink. But no way in hell you expected that on day 1.

the glory days LOL..
But in all seriousness my car is at a respectable point right now. still have some plans for sure but don't need to rush anything as its in great shape body/mechanical wise. I just WANT/NEED a house. Its my main priority right now and getting into a house isn't always cheap lol.
Coming up with a down payment and closing costs for a 300k home is gonna be ALOT

damn brother you got a killer deal on your wheels
I generally have a rule, I don't usually buy things that are over 250 (unless they're essential like tires, rent, etc)
I wouldn't mind spending 1000 on wheels I really love, and then selling off my A-Spec wheels so in total it'd cost around 300, which isn't too far off my "rule".
I can't be spending straight up 1000 on items, though lol

^^ DO IT GP. I know you can go over a 50 sheet LOL.
Got a question for you thanh.. For the inspire fogs. It came with a relay and the HID kit came with a relay. Me and my buddy were wondering do we need to use BOTH relays or just scrap the one that came with the fogs and just use the one with the HID KIT. Either way we will figure it out but just wanted to ask ya

pretty sure it got damaged when removing the OEM j-pipe. that shit was a bitch to get off, the nuts were just chunks of rust so a lot of heat and prying was required.

^100% agree. Although I don't see anything wrong with having the manifold powdered...
I started doing my engine bay in almost that exact color of blue. Loved it for a day, hated it every day after. Went back in and bodymatched everything...I've loved it since.
Seriously, what was I thinking...
