Congratulations-you're possibly the first one (besides Anil's hood) to receive this esteemed award.

I'd rather see black lugs and rdx covers.
How's the CEL thing going? I had a similar experience to Anil's...kept clearing it, changing stuff...finally it stopped for a week, then came back. Said fk it...it's not affecting my A/F ratio (the upstream sensor) so I let it ride...like a month later it turned off and never came back. These cars are very sensitive to changes in exhaust flow and clean air.
Looks great Jeff...spent the morning reading through your thread. The least I could do! I look forward to whatever else you have in store. Every update in here has gotten better and better. Lowered, spacers and you'll be in business. I'd be careful with being talked into rolling your fenders though (if that comes up) because of the body work you've had done. TL fenders are very robust but it wouldn't take much force to crack bondo.
Just keep it in mind.
I also second what Thanh said about what I'd do for the kind of backgrounds you've been able to shoot. Fkng awesome.
Cheers, man...I'll be a regular in here now that it's in my sub'd.

hey! thanks for the kind words. means a lot coming from such an established member such as yourself.
Rear type-s DEPO side markers are going in this weekend. OEM was 140 plus shipping I got the depos for 50 shipped so we will see how they look!
The CEL has been strange! Its been on since I put exhaust and j pipe on but sometimes it will not be on and then after I drive for 5-10 mins it will pop back on, so its kind of intermittent, not really sure whats going on but I don't think anything bad is happening, the car is running great.
TEIN SA's/spacers/3.7 TB and 3.7 mani will be the next update but that wont be until next spring/summer. Ill be getting the mani and valve covers powder coated as well.... colours??
As far as the body work, both rear wheel wells were CRUMBLING, it was disheartening to see to be honest, like how can someone let their car get to that point??!!
I don't think the body shop used bondo I was told they were going to cut out ALL rust and weld new metal in! I doubt ill be getting the fenders rolled would def like to avoid that kind of stuff I wont be slamming my car so I should be ok I guess.. My trunk and rear bumper/lip were NOT painted and the more I look at it the more I say WTF was I thinking? I thought a good buff would have brought it back to life but NO GO, so Im going back to the shop to get them spots painted so the whole car is uniform in depth/colour
I really wish I had a better camera man, I see yours and Thanhs pics and I'm like OMG WTF BBQ. I kinda want to get some foggy graveyard shots in next time (I live on the east coast of Canada = nothing but FOG lol)

LOL...I appreciate the kind words, man.
Just takes practice. If I'm not mistaken, Thanh's magic comes in the form of an entry level(ish) camera. You can do very well with a little post processing and a decent sized file.
You'll like the Depo...the finish on them looks slightly different than oem when off, but that may or may not bother you.
Up close in the sun, my paint looks like your before pictures...keeping waxed keeps it looking decent though. I want to avoid being stressed about getting chips after painting it!
I'm sure they did weld new metal in, but normally they'll do a final skim coat of filler to smooth it out perfectly. Not a problem if you don't roll, if you do, be sure to warn the person you're having do it!

J, what do you think of my CEL issue? In regards to it being on, then going off randomly then coming back after driving it lol

Mine took six weeks to go away permanently AFTER I stopped clearing the code and resetting it. I gave up...then it left and never returned. The ecu for our car is very smart and takes a long time to adjust to the new flow.
If the car is running right, let it work itself out. I think Austin (undyingdreams) has had some CEL problems with the ATLP exhaust too.

thanks.. Its a underwater camera that I bought when me and the misses went to Honduras for scuba pics lol so its nothing crazy.
Yes a little bit of saturation not 100% or anything but a touch just to give the surroundings some life.
I really do need some good pro pics though. The pics I take don't do my car any justice at all

thnx J!!
I have a buyer who wants my oem waffles and I've been wanting 18s for a bit now, I shldve just went with 18s to start but ever since the type s came out I was in love with the waffles so I impulse bought them LOL.. But I have a question . I put this in the xxr thread too but figured id put it here too...
so even though I DO NOT have brembos should I still get the 18x8.75 +20?? Im going to get Tein SA's in the futute (next spring) so I will be lowering the car (not slamming it) but will be riding it at stock height for a few months..
Can I use the 18x8.75 +20mm all around with 225/40/18 in front and 235/40/18 in the rear or should I just stick with 225/40/18 all around. Or would I go with 18x8.75 +20mm with 225/40/18 in front and 18x9.75 +20mm rear with 235/40/18? Just so confused lol
I read through a lot of pages and theres just a lot of info and my heads all over the place and it can be confusing for a novice like me lol
as you mentioned b4 J i should try to avoid rolling fenders so Im not going to slam the car but a subtle drop would be great. Lowering springs are out of the question as the shocks in this baby are pretty old so full coil system is required
