I wasn't in Windsor recently actually =p
Been going to Hamilton and Montreal a lot.
I'll definitely let you know the next time I go back to Windsor...
ACTUALLY, October 25-27 I'll be down in Windsor!
And thanks for the compliments! Yes... those headlights. I still have to finish the retrofit that I have...

I purposely kept them off because I need to remove my bumper to recut the A-Spec to fit them... also I need to finish my TL-S foglight-retrofit... and I also don't feel like taking off my bumper because I need to finish my new headlight-retrofit as well. I would prefer to take the bumper off once and have everything dealt with all at the same time. BUT, it's so many things to do at once
I SHOULD be down at the end of March!
I plan to make a visit to watch Noah with a friend. Mmmmn... Emma Watson
--
I do have a small mod in the works... Something to add to my rear-bumper.

A for fun video of my ATLP Quads I made for another forum member (Canadian3GTL).
I duct-taped my phone (Lumia 920) to the rear bumper and got on driving during my trip to Cornwall and Montreal.
Background: This was a cold start right after filling up some gas. There is a lot of double-clutching in the video. Sometimes I let it coast after double clutching--sometimes I maintained speed... and the other times I went WOT after double clutching. It's 7minutes long. Most of it is just me cruising at 120km/h in 6th [some cruising in 5th, 4th and 3rd in 120km/h as well]. I never hit redline, shifted 500-700RPMs before hitting the rev limiter.

Cool shots....they remind me of Tyler's shots on the multi-level parking facility.

Thanks! I was pretty scared I was going to lose my phone too.. thank god for bluetooth to tell me if it flew off or not
I was thinking why the photos looked familiar after taking them, like I seen something similar before! Those were some good shots!
Thanks! They're light weight and [supposedly] very strong, better than rpf1s!
Thanks! You should get them too! They were like the 3rd mod to my car or so and I loooooooooove them. I down-shift so I don't have to brake, and to save gas [coasting above 1,200RPMs]... but also to hear how sexy the exhaust sounds.
--
So, I've had this in my house for a long while now. Since we keep having on/off weather I can't really work on any outside projects.
Luckily for me I have my old bumper and parts to mess around with.
Here's a tease.

Enjoyed listening to the sound of the exhaust in the video. Car sounds always bring a smile to my face.

Thanks guys! Still got a lot of work left to do on the splitter/lip.
I'm considering making it a two part lip. That way I will have an option to have the gap... and an option to hide the gap.

Sooo... I'm randomly browsing eBay to see what funny stuff they have for our TLs and I find this eBay seller using two of my photos I took back in 2010 at the CanAm cruise.

What should I do? Hmmmn... second image has their watermarks all over it lol

Can you talk to eBay and see if they can help out?
That lip looks fantastic, by the way.

Went to pick up some Evo parts today for my buddy... later took some photos and met up with a few other members.
Currently need to pack, so, for now, here are some teasers from my phone.
Real photos from my DSLR coming after I pack and edit.
The Monroe Towers, inspired by Miss Marilyn Monroe (the other one is a companion building, something to do with a masculine figure).

So, you guys won't see the splitter/lip on the car for a while...
My car was involved with a hit and run. Pretty serious damage.
From a visual inspection of my own [and a friend who's a technician] we saw that the LCA snapped, tie rod is damaged, cv shaft needs to be replaced, bumper repaired or replaced, fender pulled or replaced, and then there's the new paint. Not to mention the new alignment... hopefully nothing else is wrong with it.
Sucks more is I was parked. Left the car unattended on Saturday/Sunday since I didn't have anywhere to go.
Parked here, under this tree, just behind the driveway.
This is my street
Here's the damage:
Corner of the bumper is actually in 3 pieces.
This stretched a little further actually. Had to pull the fender manually as it rubbed against an open door.
At first thought it was just the body. Drove a bit, heard a popping noise.. stopped and saw the rest of the suspension.
And here she is getting towed away...
The driver hit my car so hard that the entire front of my car shifted over 5"... so hard that it forced my car to go into steering-wheel-lock. So hard that it managed to snap my LCA---but it missed the sensor so no airbags went off. Car alarm didn't go off either.
So far no witnesses, waiting to talk to the neighbour that I parked in front of. They have one of those camera-doorbells so hopefully they have a security camera set up too (but I don't see any).
I thought the RDX might have been a suspect but it doesn't make sense to drive the car to where you hit someone. [it's a neighbours relative]. What's suspicious is though that they refused to talk to me because they were foreign. So I had a friend talk to them for me.
A lady came to the door stated "We just moved here." And left. Then tried again and she got a man to come stating "He's the owner of the house." (but she got him from the same door of the building). A man came. Said he doesn't know anyone by the description I gave. Then he claimed he doesn't know what car we were talking about. Then he claimed there was no one else that lived there. Then he claimed that he has never seen anyone else. We convinced him to see the car, then he claims the RDX was his relatives... when I inquired about the damages he said they were there prior. BUT, the owner of the vehicle refused to come out.
I see the RDX on and off... so I don't always see him around, thus I can't recall all the damages on the car. So, it's purely speculation that the RDX was the one that hit me. BUT, the interaction with them was very suspicious.
